What a great round of footy. Even though my mob got beaten, wasn't it an interesting round. The top three sides all get beaten, two of them by sides who will not play in the finals. Then there was Sydneys great win over the Tigers, and the Dockers beating the Eagles in a fierce game in Perth. Roll on the finals.....can't wait judging on the closeness of this round.

wow!! what a great moment of my life, to see those eagles go down a point to my team, the champs!!i was at the game and was in an unbelievable mood, i never thought i could ever be like that! jumping up and down on the chairs, screaming obscene comments at the umps etc..the atmosphere was incredible and it seems like it was the same 4 most of the round! i think it has been the most unpredictible round so far and i have found this unpredictibilty great

I was at the MCG today. it was a teriffic atomsphere. I wanted to see who we would be playing in the first week. Then, lo and behold, North lose, sowe will probably be playing the Kangas.
I loved the "ode to joy" classical music that was being played as the torch went around the ground. Spine tingling

Carlton lose to Port
Freo beat Eagles by a point
Sydneys 1 point win over Richmond
To cap it off there were a number of entertaining melles with the Bombers/Bulldogs and Freo/Eagles getting stuck into each other on several occasions.
Geelong and Melbourne also started to get a little fierce at half-time.
The Eagles-Fremantle brawl was the first proper brawl i've seen for a while and it made me realize just how entertaining they can be.
