Were you in the Southern Stand, or was this going on all around the ground?

cheers Ripper

i actually left early to beat some traffic  and was wondering what the huge cheer was as i walked to my car, thought Pavlich had taken mark of the year and roosted it 70m and put us completely out of our misery

got a bit of a shock to turn ABC on as i drove onto Punt Road and hear Tarrant had kicked 2 and we were 7 points down, felt like quite a dill then

as long as we beat carlton, i dont care what happens in the other games any more

I Was in the southern stand but everyone in the ponsford stand stood up
I was in the Ponsford and everyone around us was up cheering, biggest bronx cheer/jeer I have ever heard at a game. The send off the festering maggots got when they left the field was also given with passion - albeit from the few that turned up on the day and didn't leave early.

Well played Pies.

Yeah maybe Tarrant was held by that "thug" Parker, but it happens to alot of the forwards. Taz needs to learn to just get on with it and go for a second effort. Umpires are human and with alot of the wrestling contests in the goal square, the umps sometimes just let them go, but Taz does complain so the umps may sub conciously make him "earn" his kicks.

To all your fellow Woods supporters, where were they?. Bums on seats are required to support your team.

i think if we had a sniff of finals people might have given a stuff.....there wasnt a lot of incentive to attend, besides Bucks' 250th, and the fact we were playing Freo made it worse really

Says to me that these absent "supporters" are Champagne Charlies, bandwagons only around for the good times.

Support your team through the highs and lows.

There have been many lows over the past decade but I think you will find Magpie fans to be a pretty resiliant lot. Continually in the top order of 'bums on seats'.

FMD we played like crap. Tried hard but we were crap. Slow an unskilled. At least we weren’t soft this week. Put that down to Buckley's 250th. Expect to see the softness back next week. Unfortunately for Freo's finals chances we were crap Tarrant was as hard done by as anyone I've ever seen and Freo still only just won. Not much to be happy about for either team if you ask me.
