Fatty narrating that catch is probably the only better tv than the catch itself

Go way way back. From memory in world cup India were 5 for 25. Enter kapil dev who exited with 175 to his name in an era when 240 was a very good score

On SM-G950F using BigFooty.com mobile app

they were 6-down soon after. From memory Madan Lal might have made a small contribution alongside him.
The team at the lunch break - which was mid-first innings - exited the dressing room and left a glass of water in there for him, knowing he would bake them if they stayed around

Alan Border making 98 n/o and 100 n/o against the West Indies in 1984 to save the game. In the West Indies, against Marshall, Garner and Daniels, Border batted in total for 639 minutes, not going out once. Marshall later said that it was an injustice Border did not make 2 centuries in the match. Remarkable concentration, stamina and courage shown by Border.

Jeff Dujon later once listed it as his biggest disappointment in cricket!

Bay 13 MCG Lillee breaking bowling record.
Dysons catch.
Anything Viv Richards

Dyson's the only one still living from that dismissal, Sylvester Clarke drank himself to death and Roo died last year.
Can relate to Sylvester and getting closer to Roo.
The way things are going the only cricket we'll be watching soon is replays.

Stumbled on this short film about the 1948 Ashes test at Lords (part of Bradman's final series).
There's some absolute gold here for those who like to see the way things were.
Includes match footage, wicket preparation and the making of bats and balls.
Mentions Bradman joining a "golden pageant" of the game's greats starting with "Silver Billy" Beldham from the 1780s!

Bradman's final test was at The Oval. The Lord's test was the second (of five) in that series.

The 81/82 Test against the Windies at the MCG was memorable for a number of reasons:

-Australia crumbling to the WI pace attack (Roberts, Garner, Croft, Holding)
-Greg Chappell getting his 4th duck in a row
-A gutsy century from Kim Hughes on a tough MCG pitch
-Dennis Lillee claiming Viv Richards on the last ball of the day, leaving WI reeling at 4/10
-Lillee the claiming the Test Match wicket record the next day and getting his best bowling figures in an innings
-Australia going on to win the match

Aus & WI first innings highlights:

Great is overstating it but this is a cracking over from Flintoff to Kallis.

Have there been two better balls bowled in a row?

Amazing stuff!

I always loved the three deliveries in a row Kapil Dev bowled to us at the Gabba in 1985-86

Border bowled through the gate, swung back in
Dean Jones turned inside out by an outswinger, play and miss
Jones bowled through the gate, started shaping away then nipped back in off the seam
