I agree with you tiger_of_old. The "king" is having problems with his groin and apparently hasn't done a great deal over the summer as far as training goes because of it.
I'd be very surprised if he gets passed 3 years, maybe even 2. I reckon he'd just had a big dose of "Sally" befre he was asked that question.

Get real RB96, How much more punishment can Carey's body take. His shoulders won't be able to last another 5 years of AFL football. You will be lucky to have him for another 2 seasons and if he does play another 5 seasons he's not going to be the dominant player he once was. He probably will end his career in the FP maybe kicking a couple of goals a game.

RB96, thats right Carey would still demand the best backman each week. Thats only because Carey is the only tall foward you have of any class. You wouldn't need waste your best backman on Sav, any idiot can stop him.

Once he put that Royal Blue and White jumper on he became a superstar... amazing how it happens... Jason McCartney was a very ordinary player at Collingwood and Adelaide... now a Champion CHB... Sav was a very ordinary footballer at Collingwood... but watch this space... and just to get JUBJUB all fired up Colby will set the world on fire this year... Ok I can bring an unbiased view to this. I dont like North Melbourne(in fact I come from a line of Kangaroo haters that goes back to my grandparents) but I think that with sav they have picked up the recruit of the year. I mean the guys kicked 500 goals. Not many have done that. He was the quickest player to the 500 mark. Malthouse will rue the day that he let him go.
