It's a sledgehammer of a movie.

Yep, Villeneuve hasn't really put a foot wrong. Sicario is a contemporary masterpiece and about the only honest cop movie about drugs ever made by Hollywood.

Arrival is utterly sublime too. Given its whole thesis is a complex scientific theory, all the greater achievement.

Don’t mind that movie, but that dueds shirt doesn’t get any blood on it when he cuts the cops ear off. His sleeve would be soaked in blood. Looking at Tarantino’s later movies it’s like he’s making up for that * up.
