Great Video Clips

It's a bit of an art-form and a lot of good directors have come out of the genre.

I just watched a fantastic new video from one of my favourite bands currently and though we should complile a list of great clips.

The main rule would be not to post a video just because you purely like the song. Obviously most will be songs that people like, but the clip should be innovative / thought-provoking / funny / etc.

That said, here's the one I was talking about and 4 of my favourite viedo clips.

Grizzly Bear - Ready, Able

Pharcyde - Drop

Rob Dougan -- clubbed to death, still grabs me as much now - as it did the first time.

Cornelius, from Japan and Fit Song almost makes 'sledgehammer' look amateur.

and IMO, knock out a top song or two as well.

I posted this on the Carlton board with a comment "This remind's me of Henderson kicking for goal" and man did I get bombarded

This one comes to mind off the top of my head. Was very popular at the time - Korn's Freak on Leash. Watching it again a decade later, I got to admit it's pretty cool(...so is the song!)

Now I'm going to spend the rest of my day thinking of a less embarrassing great video clip to suggest. :p

thats not embarrassing brisbanelioness. Love Korn, one of my favorite bands. Have seen them the last 3 times they have been here, and got to go back stage and meet them last time round. Freak on a Leash is a great vid clip, very old now but is still very cool.

Korn were cool. A friend and i entered a comp run by channel v i think to get tix and backstage passes, we already had tickets, but going backstage was cool. We were given some merch as well, and we could get it signed, but was told we can only get one item signed each, however, none of the guys had any problem signing more. My friend brought an extra few things to get signed for people and when the security guy tried to stop her, munky said it was all cool and made sure he got them all. Typical PR set up, was a short meet and greet, but was very cool. We were back stage for about 30 min while our rep chick was sorting out where and when we were meeting them, but that was ok, all the rest of the bands were walking around and saying hi. We were waiting outside of a kitchen area where they get their meals done, and Fieldy came down to grap his dinner but stopped and talked for a while, so did Davis which was good. All the guys had plenty of time for us, more than the actual people organising it did anyway.

I still have my 'see you on the other side' signed album up in the cupboard. Was a great concert.
