Fantastic. We did what that idiot on this board told us to do to become a contendor, and that was win games at the MCG. Weve won our one and only game at the MCG for the minor round. Great effort. We didnt just win, we thumped them into the ground. Everyone played damn well except for one...Chad Cornes.

In defence of Cornes he did have 4 opponents most of the day.

He does need to get his touch somehow though, having balls bounce of your head and the like costs too much in todays football.

Yes, great to beat Hawthorn and go second. I felt though that Hawthorn were not playing confidently at all, and that we made much to many simple mistakes. Also very pleased that we had a win at the MCG, in our one game there for the year !
