Being the off season and still having an appetite for all things Carlton I am interested in knowing some of the all time biggest biffs that have taken place in our history. Any insider information would be most appreciated. Whether these feuds are ex-players with ex-players or ex-players with past coaches or just a couch or ex-player feuding with other team's coaches or ex-players. Maybe a tit bit of something that is simmering between the current list as well.

Got the idea from an article today on the AFL website where they had the Walls vs Sheedy and Mitchell vs Pagan feuds ... I am sure there are many more greater sh*t fights that we would all take pleasure in reliving.

What I would really like to know is why Sheedy has such a hard on for us. I know he would cream himself if he could steal Smurph from us and would pay way over the odds for the champ just to rub our nose in it. I lived through all of the nineties action between our two proud clubs but feel that there must be more as I just do not see why he is such a knob with all things connected to Carlton.

Hopefully the thread will give us all something to wet our appetites until the real deal gets under way.

Carlos and Cloke would've been interesting

Cloke went down faster than a brides knickers on her wedding night...

There was always going to be one clear winner there even if they stood toe to toe and went at it hard.

Hehe I can see this is going to be a humorous thread.

Actual Carlton people in blues (pun intended) back in the late 70's Rod Ashman sat newish (about 6 weeks into the job iirc) coach Ian Stewart on his bum at training one night and Stewart was gone very shortly after it, wouldn't be surprised if he had already lost the majority of the team in those 6 short weeks. The story at the time was that Ashman requested leave from training to attend his fathers funeral and Stewart said no, leading to the stouch. Not sure how true it is but that was what was going around at the time.
