In an overcrowded but less than thrilling field my top five in no particular order would be;

Dean, Farmer, Woey, Jako, A. Johnson. Apologies to the Duke and Darren Bennett. Stan Heal obviously an overall legend but career with us far too short to count.

Bill Adams more notable for coaching four reserves flags in ten years and staying on with the 2's as a player coach for five years after retiring from the VFL. Later coached South Melbourne as well.

Jakovich was a marvel. But the Duke of Earl was my hero growing up so he has my vote. And he played shield cricket and then did alright elsewhere.
