I don't agree. Davey deserved a lot bigger kick up the ass than Green. If Davey wasn't playing then it would have been a good move.

Davey has been our worst player this year by a mile, I would never play him again at least until he gets a whole new attitude, it's a disgrace that he is a leader.

Green should not be captain, he has never been a leader even when we were good. Years back when we were playing finals he was soft and lazy, a leader is someone who goes out week in week out and gives 100% that's why I love Nathan Jones. He may not be the most skilled or best player but you can't doubt his work ethic!

Having said that, we can't trade Green. He needs to play up forward and that's it, when he is there he looks dangerous and if we did get rid of him it puts more pressure on Watts, Howe and Jurrah. We need him to lead that particular group.

Imagine if we got Luke Ball...

He might be annoyed at being the sub but he deserved it, captain or not. Viney won't play favourites or suck up to the players and this is exactly what the club needs.

He's had a poor season and has struggled to make the impact we've wanted as captain no doubt. Replace him as captain if need be but I still don't like where this is all heading.

Our poor leadership and poor season need to be looked at seperately - as long as they are then I'm content with any finger pointing at certain players.
