Probably deserves a couple of weeks. Snapping the head of somebody back like that can send them unconscious and can cause serious damage. Not a good look when you keep lifting the elbow up to get them high either.

Then again, he's a Collingwood player so he'll get a $1,000 fine and an appearance on the Footy Show.

looked a decent flop from merrett. short of an uppercut, i can't imagine an elbow coming in from the side was going to flip the head back like that.

exaggerated it looking for a free kick and in doing so might have made the concussion worse. silly.

Glanced the shoulder, then his elbow slid up as Merrett was going downward.

There's no doubt in my mind that it is accidental. If Levi wanted to nail Merret then he would still be in a coma.
