Watched the QLD SOO squad train up here (Hyatt Coolum) this arvo - and Inglis looks in great nick.

Also picked up some of the tactics that QLD will be employing (no great surprises) - although Inglis has a license to have a ping at field goals whenever he has the urge - and mix up the usual game plan.

Woah, thats great stuff Lidge! Do tell us as much as you can about how the squads going, particularly ofcourse Dallas, Cameron and Greg. :p

I remember reading an article a year back now telling of how Greg Inglis just picked up the ball once from halfway and kicked a field goal, 50m out!

Was a funny afternoon. Just came off playing a round of golf and drove the cart around to the driving range. Couldn't hit any balls, as the squad were training on it. So we drove the cart right up to the sideline (with esky in the back) - parked right on the edge of the training field (with about 8 other onlookers) amongst the QLD support staff and watched training - with Mal Meninga addressing the troops only 2m in front of us.

Sitting back in the sun drinking beers - was better than sitting in a corporate box.

GUN!

I'm a storm supporter, but I was a bit nervous that he'd have a horrible game (ala Hodges a few years back) and be dropped.

Boy, did he have a great 2nd half or what!? :thumbsu:

I know Greg. He's a great talent.

Watched the game tonight (NSW supporter, but I wanted to see Greg do well), and he did very well after a stuttery start. Scored a double, and di one of the best try saving attempts I've seen. Kept his team in it, in the econd half. Man, Lockyer butched some passes tonight.
