Very good appointment. Had success everywhere he has been (not the ultimate success at Carlton but he brought us up off our knees).

Always rated him very highly and I think he'll excel in this role.

Well said - I second this. He built the foundation of the club that we love and celebrate today and secured our future via the Springfield Base and the new Stadium at Vic Park. I really hope they get him in front of the crowd at the WB game in a few weeks. I will be on my feet with a standing ovation for the man.

Not to worry - Victorians won't be completely forgotten. Swann is also the former CEO of Collingwood and Carlton so he'll certainly take into consideration the needs of the big Victorian clubs. Probably not your club, though...
