Further to docs point 3 - Early speed is very vital for sprints but once it gets over or around 530 you often see mid rangers win comfortably after front runners fiz out.

All depends on the dog though, 70% of front runners/leaders go on to win.

Hoping to have a much better night than i did last week, putting all bias aside this week.

Sandown

Race 8 Melbourne Cup Final 515m

Two dog race in my opinion between: Bekim Bale - Dyna Tron.
However i said last week, if Bekim Bale beats Mepunga Nicky, he wins the final, and he did so in the fastest heat time. Only worry is squeeze box, keep Dyna Tron safe. Sheeren Bale to Place

Race 6 Carnival Cup Final 715m

This is a four dog race and your first four wont pay anymore than $100 if that salutes

My pick for this is Echelon, had a few runs now from a lengthy spell and still improving, won his heat and is boxed well. Granduer won his heat in the fastest heat time but i dont think he can back it up this week, boxed badly and i just dont feel he has the class.
Bling It On would be starting favourite if this was 3 weeks ago, was in amazing form, knocking over Echelon and Granduer with ease, wouldnt suprise me at all. Zipping Lad Only needs to recapture his best to win this, but this dog is crying out for a spell, might lead early but fade late.

Rc1 Defrim Bale
Rc3 Autoamerican
Rc4 Heston Bale*
Its about time this dog breaks through^^^, with early luck he is the fastest dog at the racetrack no doubt in my mind, has 0 track sense but with a few runs under is belt, its a matter of time until he improves and im picking tonight is that night.
Rc5 Tonelli Bale*
Rc9 Black Hombre*
Rc10 Carol Allen
Rc11 Crossfarnogue

Hobart

Rc6 Damek
Rc7 Mojito*
Rc8 Compacto
Rc9 Wandy Neg*

* = Best Bets

Exacta of the night:
Hobart Race 6 #4 Damek - #8 Pretty In Blue

Quinella of the night
Sandown Race 8 #4 Bekim Bale - #7 Dyna Tron

First Four of the night (Boxed)
Sandown Race 6 #3 Echelon - #1 Bling It On - #5 Granduer - #8 Zipping Lad

What are people's thoughts on the first leg of the quad? Im thinking about taking the blue one out with three fields and hope a roughy gets up in the Cup and having that $200K to all to myself :o

Didnt see this post when i was doing my post, Tonelli Bale is one of my best bets of the night, should win. I wouldnt be surprised by an upset in the cup, Might do a quad - Bekim Bale, could get into trouble with box 4.

If Tonelli Bale doesnt win imma neck myself

Geez banking on Tonelli Bale from the squeeze box, fingers crossed for you guys i couldnt bring myself to bank on it from that box. Allen Lawson and Clydes Angel are both good dogs too so you will be holding your breath early. Good luck though.

Also Pretty in Blue wont be able to cross from box 8 so will need to show some ticker to hold onto second with dogs like Miki Moto Mike and to lesser extent Classic Camdale and Stylish Michael capable of finishing on at the end.

Im just playing devils advocate though, both bets could well and truly get up

Im also starting to really warm to Numero Uno Bale in the Cup. Shereen Bale will jump fast and hold the inside, which should give him room to follow through and if he is within 3 lengths or so out of the first corner he will be very hard to hold out. Probably a safer place bet but worth having something EW too

Taking a go at the Sandown quaddie

3,4 : 1,3,5,7 : 1,2,6,7 : 1,2,4,5,7

Numero Uno Bale EW and box up 1,2,4,5 in a trifecta, dont think Dyna Tron can get over in this field so will be hard pressed to get into it

I knew you wouldn't be far away with a plug! Haha but get onto winning glory I've never had so much fun with my pants on.

Winning Glory?

Explain more 8th best poster on the bay.

Winning Glory is bulldogrob's syndication group, there are a number of people here with shares in syndicates organised by Rob.

Prices are very affordable, and there are some potentially very good pup's you can get a stake in.

Finally some respect

For a minimal amount (around $350-400 for 5%) you can get 5%-50% in well bred dogs. I've had a duel city winner (Pedra Branca) and this new guy Unique Venom who is up to around $5K prizemoney from 7 starts? There is also payment plans for those that dont have it all upfront.

You should buy one immediately :o
