Lay - Quick Connect (Race 10, No.1) - Young dog who has had only a handfew of starts. Did win from this draw in a solid 25.69 but there are 3-4 other dogs who can run similiar time. Watchdog has him installed as $2.20 fav and I am pretty sure the punters will follow this dog, but this dog's other 2 runs were nothing flash and I just feel that the right price is around $4.70-$5 and you wont get close to this, so gamble and take this dog on and go wide in multiples.
Started $1.50 and finished near last. Goes to show the black sheep in punting

Happy to leave out the 8. Don't think it will figure.

With the 1 ... Yeah, I dunno. Obviously not in winning form. Ran this TD well about 2 months ago, I agree. As I said, dunno ... didn't feel him, can't really explain.

Also liking the track specialists, or at least those that have run more than 4 races here prior.

I will happily eat my words if he wins though.

Yeah, you can easily tell that with the 1. Runs FFA at Mandurah and is running only 5s at Cannington.

The 1 ran very well considering his poor start. Really smart. Didn't get the rails, moved well to the outside and flew home. Give it another few strides and it coulda got it.
