hows his confidence gonna be? pretty shattered I reckon.

The little trooper still chased the bunny right to the finish.

Don't think it should ruin his confidence, he has a great temperment and a fantastic chaser. If anything would have ruined his confidence having his head bitten off at Shepp would have but it didn't affect.

Its funny how many dogs come out and win there next start after a fall.

I ironically just watched the replay about 10 times. To be honest, and this is coming from a party which wont be "favorable" to the dog, it was its own fault. It had oodles and oodles of room when Philby bombed the start and was a clear last out. At the first turn, instead of railing it wanted to drift out wide. it just kept trying to shove the dog on its outside out of the way instead of railing where it had room. A keen railer or average railer would have stuck to the paint and probably either shot up to the lead or be behind it at the first turn.

Verdict: Dog does not rail as I thought it did and is a wide runner and caused all the chaos.

P.S Ugly ugly tumble it took. That makes me sad :(

I will probably get flamed by all the owners but unfortunately that's how it happened...

You are allowed your own opinion mate.

I don't agree with you that the fall was entirely his fault. Yes, he shifted off the fence marginally but that didn't cause him to fall. He was clipped from behind on two different occasions resulting in him behind turned side ways, resulting in him falling. He ended up facing the other way when he picked himself up. The reason he was drifting off the track was due to being struck from behind.

I agree with you there. It wasn't his fault entirely. It just looked from the vision on the replay that he kept wanting to drift off the track instead of hugging the rail and that triggered a chain reaction which caused yucky chaos.

Anyway, I hope he pulls up ok, because it really was an ugly fall. :(

my bitch is about to run in the next at cranbourne, r2 number 5 bianco sally. She didnt try in her first start, came last in poor time, doesnt look good. Hopefully she puts in tonight because she will get sacked by the trainer. Its disappointing, it just shows how hard it is to get a smart one. You really do need to have a dog who will run through a brick wall, her problem is she runs around them.

I think i remember talking to you. You purchased her off Terry Hines with a racedog?

Didn't watch the race, but saw the result. Did she not put in again? If not you should try her over in Adelaide as they have a bite on lure.

Cheers
Rob

yeah thats right, this one was just a pup when we got her, she broke in ok with dave knocker, but in her 2 starts didnt even try. Idont think finishing on the arm would help her cause she seems to lack that competetiveness in a field.

In there just came 4th an lost me a bundle. Lol. I had it in 2 running doubles an each way an I'm shattered. 3 dogs fell at the first turn Inc. Favourite. If it can't be 5 dogs. What can it do? I still believe in buzz.

Talented....not freakish.

Since its 3 month spell, which was obviously injury related, it has lots ALL of its explosive speed. Once it draws a middle in the box in the city, it will get skittled out to last early, mark my words.

Our Toyman showed why it should only race on provincial tracks. Super dog, but is not suited to the circle.

The only 2 I do not give a possible hope in the world to are the 5 or 7, so I will be boxing up 1,2,3,4,6,8 in all exotics and hoping to get a good result up..

i didnt mean the 5 i meant the 4!

typo i agree with that reasoning but i wouldnt bother with a box quinella with 6 selections...

make a packet is a smart dog and the 4 took it up to it last week.

really lke the chances, $14.90 is stupid odds

Ya. I saw that..I thought the 4 was way overs and was going to back EW but already loaded so I guess I saved my money there.. quinella paid well at 18 dollars but lost overall on the race due to iceberg eddy and the pink being weakj as piss haha
