Curious to know if anyone knows of any tipster pages/blogs for the greyhounds?
There seem to be plenty out there for horses and the sports but not so much for the dogs.

You came to bigfooty a little late sadly Vince.
If you look through this thread, the main contributor was Oaksnaf who had some very interesting and thought provoking ideas, knew his greyhounds too. Have tried (albeit not very hard) to find if he still posts anywhere else but no luck.

Cheers, a bit disappointing to see that Oaksnaf is no longer posting. I like my greyhounds, and I like reading a blog or someones thoughts and processes. Always willing to learn.
A few guys on here own a dog called Unique Venom, he is 2nd emergency tomorrow in the first at Ballarat, he looks very promising. He won his recent trial by 11 lengths. It's his first start but he looks promising.

I dont remember off the top of my head, but it was 3rd quickest from the 17 trials that day. His brother Wilson Venom is fairly smart.
I hope you go well mate, would love to see a real run before making a proper assessment.
My top 4 from that race including emergencies and in order are:
#6, #7, #10, #3.

Lyn Smith also has #5 IN THERE, in the 5th race but have not seen a lot of her.

It has been 4 weeks or so since the big upgrade for sportsbet. They used to have a great blackbook service. They no longer have it the way it used to be, and after being told 4 times in that timeframe that the techs are working on it, it is still no longer fixed or accessible.
I can no longer add a greyhound to my blackbook. This is shitting me off no end! I was also told I could no longer add any horse or greyhound after a race has been run. What is the entire point of a blackbook? To add a great run out of a race, and here they are saying that you have to be psychic and workout who you want to follow BEFORE the race.
What a joke they have turned out to be.
So, after all that, I am on the lookout for a blackbook service for the greyhounds, but not just Victorian greyhounds, like the GRV site has. Just on that GRV site, I have also missed greyhounds racing again, because I do the form on a Sunday for the previous 4 days or so, and if the greyhound I have marked down in their blackbook has already been an acceptor at an early week meeting, I don't get the email alert. Another thumbs down to that.
I am so glad Sportsbet get none of my business, what a pathetic service they seem to provide.

Lynn has quite a few in work, she trains all of the winning glory syndication dogs which is around 10 i think? Plus some others im sure. Bulldog Rob could tell you more about her. She won a $25K race about 4-5 months ago, the name of the dog escapes me. She trains with Tony Borg at Maryborough she does a really good job, shes very patient. I have another dog with her Pedra Branca he's won over $17,000 and is a multiple city winner but has had his problems- injury wise. He should be back at the track soon as well.
can anyone recommend a good syndication place? I'd like to get in the game either through a breeding or racing syndicate. Looking for some advice as no doubt there are some shonky ones out there.
