I am loathe to tell anyone what they should or shouldn't back, you need to trust your own thinking, but I can't see Jessenia Bale beating Point Two Over.

And those two absolute superstars at Sandown, I wrote how Bekim Bale was the better of the two runs when the track record was broken forst time. Comes out and runs 28.96!!!! Wow, that is simply brilliant.

Having said that, there is no value in them at all. they will be 1.20. and it just isnt worth it. I will be glad to just watch them romp in, plenty of other spots to make money.

Good luck though Beauy, winners galore for you I hope :thumbsu:

I Havent backed her yet, will wait to look at the market closer to start time, Jessinia has been a massive improver though and if gets out early proves very hard to catch, and her early speed has improved lately.

I think point two over beat her last week when jessinia drew box 7, correct me if im wrong, but box 2 will be much better for her.

And Ill be with you just watching that race, obviously no value, but that litter is a super litter. Fyna Bale won last week aswell, one of the best litters ive seen.

She is better drawn down near the rail, it is more about the class of dog. Point Two Over is as seasoned as they come. Will be mighty hard to hold out, being better drawn aswell. If she is 7 or 8 dollars you would have to back her, under that I think is below her price.

I normally like to stick to the place, but accidently hit both for the win:eek::).

I'll definately make a small profit due to enflame now, so lets hope Dillan Bale gets up and Ill be a happy man:thumbsu:.

Good thing it won though. I wouldnt of been happy if it ran 2nd!

Hey Vince, what are your thoughts on tomorrow nights Casino Cup? Fixed odds are out for it, i really like Cawbourne Smash and see massive value in

Yeah same here, i had a bit more money on Enflame so ill come out with okay profit from those two, Dillan Bale couldnt cope with the awkward box draw unfortunately.

Dapto Race 7 Hurry Scurry scratched, would now take the 4 bye bye shanghai in that race

Don't like the track one bit.

Hillcrest Gwen is classy, but can miss the kick.

Heston Bale lol

What a win. Fierce Weetbix is no slouch, and Heston Bale just says ta ta. This dog could win the Melbourne Cup, Kantarn Bale won at his 9th start, this pup could be better.

And he might not be the best in the litter

Whos Katarn Bale? Have you seen Fyna Bale run?

Yeah run of a champion there, looking forward to Bekim Bale now.

Kantarn Bale was a great sprinter about 11-12 years ago.

Miata, Bekim Bale, Heston Bale, Cape Hawke, Fancy Dean, damn there are some sensational greyhounds around at the moment for a greyhound enthusiast.

How good would those dogs look like in the Melbourne Cup.

Yeah your not wrong, i really like fancy dean to win paws of thunder too.

Jessenia Bale and Point Two Over ended up stuffing each other up lol.

She was the best run in the race though, and is another crying out to be stepped up to 600 already.

Jessinia? I dont know if i'd agree with you on that one.

Miata is a star. A superstar.

The step up in distance is needed now, as she is getting knocked around and you run the risk of her not missing major trouble such as a fall, which she has up until this point.

There is not one iota of evidence in any of her runs that she will not be even better as the distances increase.

Normal greyhound thinking is thrown out the window when a once in a generation bitch comes on the scene.

The point you are making is the same as me but some how you came up with a different conclusion. You say she is a (potential) superstar but are willing to risk putting her over the distance anyway. Yes her racing style suggests she should run it and there is nothing to suggest she wont run it, but there are also no certainties she will. I have seen many good dogs ruined by putting them over the distance when they are not ready. All the good races are sprints, how many big 600m races are there? There are also very few distance races. She is also not a once in a generation bitch, she is a top class dog but even if she was general racing rules dont get thrown out the window, thats when you take less risks in making sure you keep them sound and exposing her over the distance this early is not i good idea imo

No, I am not making the same point(s) as you.

She is 2 years of age.

She is a 29kg bitch.

She is a once in a generation bitch, and this will be proven when she steps up to 700m.

She is not a frail 23-24kg 20 month old pup.

She has the best finishing burst of any greyhound racing in the country.

If she does not make it as a stayer, a multi group 1 winning stayer, barring injury, I will give up punting on greyhounds, because I clearly do not know what I am talking about.

Im not debating your point Stockdale, but i agree with Vince, Miata is an exception, the longer the race the goes, the more comfortable and damaging she is, there is no doubt in my mind, she will be unbeatable at a longer distance
