Shep Race 3 #7-----------------------4-3-6

Better than bank interest here for #7 ZAMBRE ARANDT who won't be challenged here. Expect a huge win at $1.40 odds. If you can grab anything over, load up. I know I am.

For a dog to break 27 at Horsham and to be racing against dogs that don't win enough races, and struggle to run mid 25.60s at Ballarat, well it just has 5L+ win at ease. And is draw well too. Trainer is in form. Everything is going right so will take a lot to drop this fav.

Take your exotics with #7 as standout.

7-4-6-3 X 12
7-3-4-6 X 6
7-3-6-4 X 5

And so on.

#7 1st $1.50 Good price there.
Lost on the above exotics.

I've stayed off this thread but I'll just say Monster Prince in the 4th at Angle gets all the favours here from the 2. Wide running speed dog whitey in 3, the class dog Risk it in 4 but walks early and could have to fnd his way through some slowcoaches.

Has solid 600m times at the meadows and flew recently at Launceston.

Cranbourne Race 5

#1 Tizzatango is having her third run back from a spell after a win at Sandown last year. Completely missed the start at Warragul and charged home in the latter stages of the race. Has 7/12 career placings and has won from this draw before at Geelong in a smart 25.65. Last start out, found plenty of trouble after beginner better than her Warragul start. This time around, gets plenty of opportunity to return to the winners list. One of the top chances.

#2 Kelandy hasn't won since March, but that won't be a problem as has been racing at city class against the likes of Pure Grunt and Holy Thunder who both broke 30sec in the run at Sandown. Is having his fourth start at Cranbourne so should be used to the boxes by now. And that to me is the only problem, his early speed. But aside from that, is experienced at city class and that is what you want. Found a heap of trouble last start, so ignore

#3 Rapid Newfire on paper is hard to recommend. But this dog has more ability than that. And you have to include the surprise factor, as last couple of starts, has sort of given up, then decided to have another go, but run into the rear end of other dogs. This race is suitable and will have a marked improvement. Don't ignore.
Second last start: #8

#4 Krug Subject doesn't warrant any interest as is well out of touch with only 3 wins in the past 18 months. On paper and on video just won't get anywhere near these.

#5 High Flying Boy has 5/12 placings over this trip including a handy 30.49 win back in March, but since then has missed the start by a fair margin. Last start was a solid effort considering the wet conditions and treking wide, while being baulked when went to the rails. Still ran on, and in wet conditions that is no easy task. Ready to rock and roll.
Last start: #7

#6 Rolling River hasn't quite done enough to suggest that she will challenge these. Has 13/27 career placings and will be suited by this draw. But I cannot picture her leading by the bend, and from the wide draw, many get forced off the track on the opening bend. And that isn't something that you want from a dog who hasn't won many 500+ races. Place at absolute best.
No video.

#7 Loyal Tiger is down in class and does his best racing from the outside and over this trip, with 6/7 career wins coming from Cranbourne 520m. Overall record at this trip 28 starts 6 wins 5 placings. Needs early racing room to do best though. Include in exotics.

#8 Why Not Adam will need to lead clearly to have any chance of winning in this field. And that is possible, well only slightly in my opinion as has been rather weak in the closing stages of races lately. Did win at Traralgon in May, but that was quite a slow time. Has won over this trip in 30.50, but that was 8 months ago. Only place at best.

Black Sabre (#1) was a tad unlucky in R4 at Bendigo. Showed good box speed again but got trod on from behind and finished up the back. May have won if she was 1/2 length more in front around the bend.

Not wanting to rain on the parade here. But there was no way Black Sabre was going to win that race. Wasn't a chance from box 1, as it seems to be an outside boxer, as runs off the track at the bend a little. The 4 tried to get to the rails, the 1 went outside, 6 tried to squeeze up, and then crash.

It was a messy race, so pretty hard to paint a clear picture with all that carnage and assume that a runner who finished well back was going to win.

But best of luck for next race. Hopefully gets an outside box. Or races at a track without the bend on the boxes.

I am a hard task master on my dogs but i think if she had of got a extra half length on the field she would have went very close to winning especially seeing that the field bunched up approaching the home turn. Did you not see her get dragged down from behind?? I think she was very unlucky but you are allowed your own opinion mate

Very unlucky was Black Sabre, great start though.

Canberra Race 1, likely to get skewed pools here with the daily grind at the pub having a bet on these races that are mixed in with the ponies.

Race 1 #3-1-2-8 Result 2-3-1-8 Tri $57.70 F4 $158.50

Canberra Race 2 #3-7-2-1 3-7-8-2

Maiden/Grade 5 dog race, have to take the dogs who have won previously and those two dogs are #3,7 and they have the best form lead up to this race. #1,8 are debutants. Good boxes for those, but harder for the 8 as has to cross the field.

Good exotic race.

Take 5,6,9 box Quin for 1 unit too.

Canberra Race 3 #6-7-8-4 4-6-2-8.....Well you can really tell when the horse racing money comes into it. R2..2k pool. R3...24k pool. Ruined the price for the favourite there. $28 for #4!!

Lets unload here on the favourite #6. Has the right form, the right box and the right racing style around this hard Canberra circuit.

Stand-out in exotics.

Canberra Race 7 #4-5-3-2 4-7-6-3 Thats what happens in a speed fight. Nab the winner, but no hope of exotics.

Short race for middle boxes. That is a worry when they all have speed. If your looking for a roughie take #7. If your taking F4s. Include #1.
