Race 1

#1 PEDRO BEN has won over this trip in 31.63 on debut. Has some early speed and will be suited by the inside draw and will be hard to hold out if runs the trip right out.

#2 EMERLEY DANCER has ran some good times at Angle Park for this class. Early splits are inconsistent, but is drawn to get the sit on the rails.

#3 TILLY BALE is an Ex Vic runner who is yet to fire a shot here. Will find this race hard.

#4 COOL COMET Just looks out of depth here.

#5 AMBER BALE could lead this race and is in good form of late with a win at Angle Park in 30.56. Will take some catching.

#6 FEAR THE DEMON Is a bond dog who was well backed in October against Rocket Tracer. Is drawn poorly and will find trouble crossing, but could surprise if finds luck.

#7 GIVE ME MORE is a steady beginner who will be wide at the first bend. It's a chance.

#8 TAZZA is a slow beginner who is well out of form and looks outclassed here.

#2 GRANDIES TYPHOON Has been well out of the markets in recent starts and hasn't fired a shot yet.

#3 REDROCK STAR was a heavily backed debutant over this trip. Has had a months break and will go close.

#4 BEAUT UNO Having first SA race start after running a strong qualy at Strathalbyn over 319 in good time. Was $3.50 fav on debut at Sandown.

#5 VACANT BOX

#6 CORZIP Is a slow beginner yet to find best. Was well backed on debut, but needs to lead this field.

#7 BEST ALTERNATIVE Has been in the market all three starts. Is a steady beginner who will need some luck.

#8 AART'S BOND dam won 8 from 18 starts including a sizzling 29.76 Angle Park win over the 515m. Is out of Bond. Bred well and is drawn well.

This is a tricky race with some dogs coming back from a slight break while others are only having their first run. If you exclude the inside two, you should be close to nabbing all exotics.

Just a heads up to all here in the Bigfooty community, that my dog Innuendo is up tonight in a Grade 5 final at Horsham in Race 8.

I own him with Bulldogrob and others.

While on times and form he appears out of this, and unfortunately drawing Box 2 which doesn't suit, the key to his success will be how well he gets out of the lids and how well he takes the home bend. He should be at juicy odds and is just getting back to 100% after a small layoff with injury.

#1 MISS HOT SPECIAL litter mate ran second on debut at The Meadows in a steady time. Has been in the market in 3 of her 4 starts, but has found trouble, mostly from inside draws.

(2) #9 POETIC ADVICE Did win a qualy at Cranbourne in 31.07 in September. No wins from 24 starts is a problem with only four placings, two from this box. Could surprise as can lead.

#3 LYNMORE LIL Faces tough task here.

#4 MAUREEN ENTITY This is dams first litter of 4 dogs and 5 bitches. This bitch ran at a Wangarratty qualy in a steady time. Open to improvement.

#5 SINEAD STYLE litter sister to #4.

#6 ALL IN STYLE steady beginner who could be the one to catch.

#7 COOL BOY DECKLYN dam produced the handy ANDERS ROAD and she also won 30 of her 57 starts. Bred well and looks well placed.

#8 JET WONDER is an interesting runner, has not win from 14 starts to date. But has found trouble in almost all as she tends to try and come through the pack. Could be one to watch for at odds as will be running on.

I actually don't mind the 9 here at odds. Could lead and if has a clean run may produce something similar to Cranbourne qualy run which is good time for this field. Include #8 if you are betting F4s as I think will run a sneaky race. And watch the market for the litter sisters in #4,5. They could do anything. The six should run favourite, but you never know what the 4,5 will do at the start.

You can stand out the 6 in exactas.

#1 CIARRAI ENTITY out of dams first litter. Bred, owned and trained by Maureen Barry. Did run a solid Wang qualy run in 23.49 and has inside draw.

#2 KATIE CALAHAN litter sister is racing well in WA, litter brother racing well in SA with a 30.58 Angle Park win, trainer has #6 in Race 1 and could produce a winning double.

#3 SIR ECHO is bred exceptionally well with litter mates winning all over the place. Is in the more than capable hands of Murray and should go close.

#4 IMPRESSIVE ROSE is bred to run quick early on and is in the Tina Womann kennels and could take some catching.

#5 WILD CAZZA is litter brother to WILD DAMO in a litter that goes ok. But I think this may just be out of his reach.

#6 GUNNA GRONDO litter brother has won 5 from 23. Has been racing consistently and poses a place hope.

#7 JIM'S ACE needs to improve.

#8 WEE SELINA has some early pace, but tends to find too much trouble from this draw and only has two placings from 17 starts.

If you stick to the inside draws here you should go close to nabbing all exotics. I think the race is between the 2,3 who are smartly bred types and in good kennels. You could box a quinella there and get a nice return.
If taking F4s, id box the inside 4 and then have another F4 with 5,6 included from 3rd onwards.

#1 DREAM THYME 2 of her 3 wins came from her first 3 starts. Has been racing well without winning recently and likes the inside box.

#2 LITTLE MISS COCO is a recent 27.78 Horsham winner, but is an inconsistent beginner. Could surprise.

#3 TOP SHOW won at Sandown in 30.46 last start leading all the way. But besides that run, only looks a place chance.

#4 TOUGH LINE has been racing consistent of late and has won over this trip. Will be backed as is syndicate dog.

#5 MISS SHANAE strong 25.67 bool winner and is a likely leader who could take some catching.

#6 MISS MINI ME loves racing from middle boxes. Has not raced in a month, but looks well placed here.

#7 CUZ I CAN recent Geelong winner who looks outclassed.

#8 RESTORED goes well this class and has 2 wins from 3 starts this box.

This is a hard race here. If the 5 leads she will take some catching.But the problem is that there is plenty of pace around in what could be a mad charge to the bend. On that basis I think the 8 will get a nice sit in the race and just run them down. Really this race could do anything, so I suggest go wide if you are exotic betting, with the 8 probable the best EW option for anyone just wanting a single selection.

Am willing to risk the 4 despite solid recent runs.

#2 TIAGRA is drawn to run in leading division and has run a strong placing over this trip.

#3 KEARON LAD is bred to run on. Another Maureen Barry owned dog from Entity litter. Only litter-mate running well is black.

#4 BOBNIAK'S BACK is a slow beginner who will get too far back

#5 MR. WINKY is bred to run the distance and will improve on his two runs to date.

#6 CHICKEM ASSASSIN syndicate dog who needs luck.

#7 CEE JAYES ENTITY runs on in his races and looks well placed from this draw.

#8 RAGTIME BUDDY should be suited by the distance and is well drawn, but will need to improve on recent runs if is going to figure in the finish.

Watch the market on the debutants this race (1,3). Looks a race for 2 to breakthrough in maiden class as just has the right credentials to win this class.

#2 UNO REX enjoys racing over this trip. Seems to have lost his early speed of late.

#3 OCTARE could lead for a long way. Has been beaten by BORDAIN in recent runs when a close second. Go close.

(4) #10 MOSS GROMMICK looks outclassed but is open to improvement.

#5 FIDEL BALE is a recent 25.41 winner at the bool. Distance is only query otherwise is definate danger.

#6 HUEY SAGE does his best racing from inside draws. DId win over this trip in 30.53 last start, but looks out of his depth here.

#7 TEX'S EXPRESS was a blistering 30.27 Cranbourne winner recently and is well drawn with early pace and will take some catching. Class runner.

#8 QUINNS ROAD needs a lot of luck to figure here.

#2 SMOOTH LARRY prefers to race outside and will need to lift.

#3 CLEVER STRIKE consistent runner with 20 total placings from 34 starts. Should go close here.

#4 HASTY SHIRAZ is having his first attempt overs this trip. Has been finding trouble in his runs of late, but can chase.

#5 MISTY SPARKS is in the Peter Giles kennels and is racing in good form. Could lead for a long way.

#6 MYSTIC THYME was an explosive 27.29 Horsham winner in October. If shows similar form will be a huge danger. But does prefer to race inside.

#7 UNION RULES 30.23 winner over this trip last month. Will be one to watch as does like to get back and charge home.

This is a hard race and I found it really tough to leave out the 4 in my selections and also the 1, who could be the favourite in the race. If 5 leads will be hard to catch and am basing my selection on early speed in a race where there looks to be a lot of trouble.

Boxing quinella should go well here, and will definately be using all 4 selections in quaddie.
