not unhappy with the results will improve over time, i keep getting close but close isnt good enough in this game so ill keep having a crack before i put any decent amount on my selections... any advice on how to go about form analysis would be much appreciated as i always seem to have multiple selections im confident on that dont run a place

I always find Wentworth Park a hard one as there arn't too many dogs who consistently perform well over that track.
Tonight at The Meadows looks a favourites night, so will be having some all-ups and a few different quaddies.
Have to wait until the last until top selection is around the $10 mark for some juicy odds.

What you can do, is for instance do the form for a race once. Mark out your selections.
Usually you go from box 1 to box 8.
Now do the form again, going from box 8 to box 1. Spend just as much time as the original analysis.
If you find you just end up confused about the race and see every runner as a possible winner, then you may find that in your original form analysis you are overlooking several factors.
Also you may not have watched every dogs last run, which means in your mind you are already favouring a couple, or ruling out a couple based on your memory - and you in a way ignore the form and go by your own personal judgement. But since you haven't seen all the dogs last race, then you arn't exactly giving each dog a fair chance in analysis.
For instance, SALE R8 tonight.
In his heat #1 MAJOR SHIRAZ surged across from box 7 and ran outside BLACK SPARROW for the initial part of the corner then pushed on as the 5 weakened. MAJOR SHIRAZ ran the quickest time in 29.79, but it was also the perfect race.
Compared the run to #8 SHOOTING STAR who found trouble on the inside entering the first corner and was shuffled back early. Was charging home late and ran a time of 29.88. Is now drawn perfectly for this race.
Although #6 HOT PUZZLE is normally a blistering beginner who may need some early running room. Is unbeaten over this track/distance and won here in Oct in 29.48. The issue here is, on her inside is BLACK SPARROW who began quickly last start, this may cause a slight squeeze as SHOOTING STAR should squirt across on the corner. But my guess is that 5 wont begin like it did last week, giving HOT PUZZLE clear racing room.
#4 HANK found trouble early in his heat and he had to work through traffic early, but only finished a small margin behind the winner in a slow time. Faces a difficult draw with the inside boxes looking like they will kick up on his inside while getting crunched from the outside.

ill try being more thorough as i can see what you mean when your looking over things on the computer its easy to miss things. ill go through my selections for sale tonight again and try see what i missed before i post.

I would highly recommend www.grv.org.au and the watchdog rocketscientist for Victorian and South Australian races.
What you can also do, is type each dog into GRV's edog form when doing races outside Victoria and then read the steward reports from their last race to get a picture of what happened.
