times run is what i first look for first and then if there is no best time i look to recent results, also when i see some dogs i have fancied before i include them such as roman conquest earlier at nowra.

I think since you directed me to better form guides at grv i look to those and then make my selections, also finding thetote.com.au have a pretty decent form guide.

I have started to look at how the market is travelling to which will sometimes influence my selections. I also like to look at the average kph on the first split on the grv site, when the formguide is available for the event.

Shockmount in the final at Traralgon doesn't run beyond 450m. It's last start win was a surprise and it started at Unders today. You can almost know what distance suits what dog by their form. Not by their times in a sense really.
