race 4- #3
race 7- #7
race 9- #7
race 10-#6

all up place

Lets just try and find some straight out winners.

Sale

Race 1 #4 GAELIC ASSASSIN - has the experience and early speed over this field. Should overcome the difficult draw and is a consistent 25.40-25.50 performer over this trip with 9/12 placings. Gets his best chance to win to date. Expect $2.50-$3.00

Race 9 #3 TEX'S EXPRESS - 25.15 qualy winner over this trip last time out and was a recent 30.27 winner at Cranbourne which is flying for this class. Should be able to cross to the lead here early and once in front he should prove too hard to catch.

Race 10 #1 KINRADE LASS - 25.27 winner from this draw recently. And won a qualy from this draw in 25.57. So should be right in the firing line for victory here. If not will be exceptionally close.

i like the 7 in rc 9, the other 2 i have got bets on, and im fairly confident

Yeah FIGHT FOR IT did win well over the trip in 25.10 and is out of the Giles camp. I suppose the few months break did a lot of good for this dog. I mainly ruled out the 7 due to the pace on the inside, and the inconsistencies the dog has in its running.

Most tipsters have it on top, so good luck. We will probably quinella it with Liams Gal the tri.

Well done Lenny on the profit!

No winners and our place all-up at Port Pirie crumbled in leg 1, which was a bugger as the two races after were $3 and $2.10 the place. Would have been nice to nab it.

But today is another day.

Geelong Race 1 347m Maiden

#1 STARALISE has had two goes at Horsham and has shown little. Is a slow starter and unlikely to figure here

#2 GOT ONE NOW Ran 18.60 at a Cranbourn qualy and on that time is going to need to lift.

#3 TOUCH OF FAITH Has run steady 26.00s at Ballarat recently and may be open to improvement.

#4 FLAMINGO SANDS Consistent runner who tends to begin on terms with most. Did run 18.75 at Healesville last week and should go well.

#5 SHORT GAIN Ran a strong 20.15 over this trip in December and if runs true to that form should prove hard to beat.

#6 SARDIUS Tends to get into trouble in his races and as a result of that has been lightly raced while facing plenty of satisfactory trials. Can run well if has his head straight. Definate threat.

#7 JACK SET GO Only has 1 placing from 7 starts and is normally about 1 second off the leaders which is just too far. Is on a quick back-up as raced on Saturday.

#8 UNO LA VOLTA Trainer is in good form of late. She ran 22.86 over 390 at Warrnambool on debut from box 7 and that may prove an ok formline for this race.

Selections: 5-8-4-6

4-8-6-5 Win $4.00 Tri $73.80 F4 $91.00

RACE 2 347m Maiden

#1 LOUIE'S BOND Fell on debut at Healesville and was found to be injured. Has had a nice break from that date and may be ready to go well here. But I would be weary in betting.

#2 SOPHIA LORIAN She has run some steady times over this trip and Cranbourne recently. Should be right in the firing line from this draw as could get to the rails and skip away early.

#3 MEDIUM Has been running slow times of late, but should improve as trainer goes well.

#4 GLENORA HOPE Faces a difficult task from this draw and tends to be inconsistent.

#5 BUDDHA LEFT GOAL Steady beginner who ran 20.39 over this trip in December. May handle this track and turns better than the straight grass track at Healesville. GO close.

#6 WAINUI LADY Was poorly drawn at Healesville but still ran a solid 19.14 and should improve on that run here.

#7 MR. EURO Running good times at Cranbourne and should go well from this draw. Definately place hope and may upset my exotics. But you cant have them all.

#8 LIKA BRUMBY Should cross this field and lead all the way as is proven over longer distances than this. My top hope.

Selections: 8-2-5-6
8-2-4-6 Win $1.90 Quin $10.90

RACE 3 347m MAIDEN

#1 FILO WARRIOR Failed to finish last start with injury. Prefer to watch on comeback.

#2 EXCEPTIONAL RAIN Finally begun like she should last start, but failed to run out the 457m. Is back in distance here and should go well.

#3 NAGATINO ISLAND Hasn't won from 18 starts. Is a steady beginner who should be running on late. Place at best.

#4 PURE ZAZZ Slow 18.80 Cranbourne qualy placegetter. Breeding may go alright so should improve on that run.

#5 HELLO DAZZLER Ready to perform well here after his debut run where he struck trouble. Wasn't disgraced in that run either.

#6 HURRICANE FLOSSY Has 6/12 career placings, but tends to do best racing when drawn against the rails as has 3/3 placings from box 1.

#7 JET WONDER Only has 3/18 career placings and tends to find a lot of trouble in her races. Ignore.

#8 NIKAYLA RUSH Is in a good kennel and drawn perfectly. Looks far too classy for these on the basis of her recent runs at Ballarat which are strong for this sort of maiden class. The one to beat, and should be shortish.

Selections: 8-2-5-3 8-2-1-6 Win $1.40 Quinella $6.10

RACE 4 347m MAIDEN

#1 TEZZA'S CHAMP 27.33 Ballarat qualy run in December which is walking. Should improve on that run based on the breeding, but otherwise doesn't come in well.

#2 PEE WEE Steady runs over this trip in Sept and Oct. Is having second run back since Oct and should be right in this.

#3 VENCHETTO BLUE led on debut but weakened severly in the run in 23.12 at Warrnambool over 390. Should be fitter from the run, but is a place chance at best.

#4 SMALLFRY MARY Well beaten in most of her starts and this race should be no different.

#5 GRO GO JACK Is too classy for these

#6 OH DARLIN' Hard to make a case for as just doesn't seem to race well

#7 SHARLINDA Trainer is going well of late and should be open to improvement here.

#8 BELLA MISS Hasn't been disgraced in her opening two races. May lift here.

Selections:5-2-7-8
3-5-2-8

ANGLE PARK

Race 1 515m Graduation

#1 PALLISER BALE Needs a clear run to do her best and will probably struggle to get under 30.40 here today. Unlikely to challenge for victory.

#2 MILLEFIORI Was checked several times in her last start second to Aston Burn and she was stormed home and was a certainty beaten in that race. Should prove too classy for her rivals here with a 30.06 P.B

#3 LANGFORD BALE Doesn't muster enough early pace to put himself into contention here. May come into the placings, but that is about it.

#4 FLOWER DOLL Can begin on terms with these but lacks the midrace pace to continue on with the race. Likely to drift back through the field here.

#5 ARVO'S ACHILLES 38 starts for only 2 wins with another 11 placings. That record doesn't boast well here at all. Will probably start at long odds and finish down the back somewhere.

#6 SPRINT MIST Begins ok and almost has a 50% place S/R so should be right in this on those stats. Can run around the 30.40 mark here which is enough to bring her into place contention.

#7 COULTA IRISH Steady performer at Gawler who does his best racing from outwide. On the basis of his times and early speed he should be a place contender.

#8 HIGHBURY LEGEND Possible the only danger to the #2 in this race having run close to 31.00 at Gawler and has placed over this trip in 30.36. Should get a clear run from this draw early but given his early pace he will give #2 too much of a head start.

Selections: 2-8-7-6 2-3-1-6 Win $1.70

*If you are an odds on punter well MILLEFIORI will be odds on in this race and she looks the closest thing to a moral. Stand her out in the exotics and you cannot go wrong. If you going to take a F4 in this race, include #1. But MILLEFIORI should win by about 5-8 lengths here.

RACE 2 515m Maiden FINAL

#1 HOLLY'S PUZZLE Gets the inside draw again at Angle Park, but last time out didn't really use it to full affect after being slow out. She is likely to struggle here again as looks outpaced.

#2 CHUNTNEY LAD Tends to begin on terms with them and should be able to run around the 30.30 mark here today if everything goes according to plan.

#3 MISS ANNA Has 5/8 placings over this trip and is in the Modra kennel so should be an alright type. Unfortunately tends to find trouble in her races and she may be outclassed here.

#4 GRAND KATELLA Has met some decent types in her three races to date and was well backed on all occassions. But is drawn poorly here and is likely to fill the placings again.

#5 SUNNY BOY LOVE Won in 30.52 after beginning quickly and steering clear of trouble. So had all the favours and may need something similar here today.

#6 SO SHADY Was a strong 30.60 winner last start out after having to weave through traffic after beginning moderately. Was smart and got to the rails quickly and ran on with the race.

#7 DAKOTA LEE Fastest winner in 30.33 and is impeccably bred. Should give another strong showing from this draw and is the one to beat.

#8 FAST TEST Led for a long way last start and had every given opportunity to win. Will probably figure in the placings this time around again.

Selections:7-6-8-4 8-7-4-3 Win $7.80 Tri $228.80

You'll be hoping for a bit of luck there in Race 1 with #6 Brenno. Doesn't begin as quick out of the boxes as the 2, is drawn outside some faster beginners and won't run 30.00. Millefiori is a railer drawn to the rails and should just smash this field.

I'll tip my hat if the 6 wins though.

yeah after that run i wont be getting anywhere near the 6 again lol, to slow out of the blocks, 2 just continues to impress

shepparton rc 9 # 1-3-4-8

ANGLE PARK RACE 3 515m Juvenile

#9 (1) ELLA FAIR Is well bred and was unlucky last start when well backed. Should appreciate the inside draw and may go close here.

#2 WORTH HIS SAULT Winner on debut in 30.38 and looks like a handy type who may just need a few more races to do his best. Place contender here.

#3 LONG GULLY KIM Doesn't have the pace or speed to contend with a couple of smart ones here.

#4 SIR BOBALOT Hard to make a case for.

#5 LONG GULLY BLUE Unlikely to challenge here.

#6 EMERLEY SNOW Has plenty of race experience against these which should prove a handy tool. Can run around a 30.40 over this trip which is good enough to come into contention.

#7 IMMACULATE Strong 30.09 winner over this trip last start and he is easily the class runner of the field and should take some stopping.

#8 UNION GIRL Is the main danger to the #7 with a recent 30.32 win over this trip last start. SHould go close to that again from this draw and with a 4.48 first split may even lead for a long way.

Selections 7-8-2-6

Angle Park
Race 4
#2 DENIRO BALE A 30.44 Wentworth Park winner. Has run sub 26 at Geelong 457m and won at Gawler in sub 31.00s. Should prove too classy for this field. May be a bit short though. Take #7 and #8 in an exacta.
