I don't mind #5 Omega Cowboy because does enjoy racing outwide. Well this is box 5, so not really out-wide, but there isn't much pace from 6,7,8. So it could actually seem like an outside draw as might get some room early, and just swoop.

Should be at nice EW odds as they will all come for #2 SHOCKMOUNT who is going to be the likely leader here. Ever since those runs at Traralgon over the 520 (dead-heated for first in one from memory) he has been able to stay on in races rather tahn dying in the final stages.

Maybe a strong quinella there with 2,5.

Port Pirie Race 6

#8 MISS MELBOURNE had so much early speed in the early stages of her career in SA as could lead by 4-5 lengths at the first turn. Is returning from a long spell. Will be interesting to see if she still has that early speed, as this race will be right up her alley.

Include 2,5,6 for exotics.

Was looking exceptionally good for OMEGA COWBOY, until WHAM big check and a fall. Could have gone on with it to win. SHOCKMOUNT was back to his best and died in the final stages of the run.

Sale Race 7

This race surely belongs too the classy #4Major Slick. Willing to risk #2 here, even though is Giles dog racing at Sale.

Don't mind 4,6,7,8 as a quinella for some nice odds.

But if your on the #4 MAJOR SLICK. This should be the right race.

Port Pirie Race 7 #7-2-1-5

I am bias towards #7 ICONIC RULER as I think is an honest dog who doesn't get blown away in races if cops a small check, always keeps trying. Doesn't win many. 11/126. But still. Will give this a good go, and from his suited draw.

Gosford Race 3

#7 LAURA'S A STAR is going to be the likely favourite here as is chasing quite well. Is armed with early speed and goes well mid-race. Running times that these probably can't match in terms of consistnecy. The one to beat.

#8 will bring the price for LAURA into a backable quote. The #2 can lead, but is weakish at the end. The #5 is the main danger. #8 is quick and litter-mate won well here too, but is inexperienced. Will get clear run early. But I don't know how will fair being boxed next too LAURA.


Watch the prices and exotics.

Gosford Race 5 #3 KERRI'S FANTASY looks too quick early on for this field and does run some ok times at THE GARDENS. Gosford is a harder track though, so leading early could be the key for this maiden class.

Bit of a weakish 600m heat coming up at THe Gardens Race 5. Watch for the experienced #3 SMARTY JOE to do well here. Always a good sign when experience vs inexperience in these kind of races.

Might be around the $4.50 mark for this 7 runner NTD race.

Can EW bet definately.
