Yeah, safe to say I was amazed at the price. Had a little bit on it with unitab and it paid $26.20. Had the quinella for more. Can have a little fun tonight now..

Can anyone topple the new track record holder and superstar MISS ELLY MINT in Race 7 at The Gardens?

Probably not.

Would hate to be all those punters who have been betting against her. Could probably rover her in quinella/exacta and may turn a profit.

I am inclined to take #1 FUEL TANK for the place. Maybe a little each-way but would only be 1 X 10 as Miss Elly Mint is going to be too hard to topple.

Bit of a difference in quality for the next race though KarlHungus.

#3 MILLIONAIRE MICK is going to be hard to beat here. Can lead and does run good times at Gosford for this class and distance. Not much chop the rest of the field.

Not many in this race, so that will help in avoiding trouble too.

No worries The Gardens is one of my favourite tracks.

Bit iffy on the next race. #7 IMA FLYER is probably going to be the only one that provides some value in the betting. I know main form revolves around Maitland. And does run some good times there. But those inside draws are the dangers. Maybe their early speed is going to be their undoing as they will charge to this first bend and to the rails. Giving #7 IMA FLYER (hopefully) a clear run for a good strong finish.

Maitland Race 3

#1 DIVER'S DALLWOOD did run a smart 23.89 at The Gardens recently. This race is really a speedy one for early splits. As #3 is a non-tab straight track winner in good times. #7 breaks 21 at Nowra. #6 had a strong win over this trip recently and #4 blitzed them at Bathurst not so long ago. So if your looking at a speed-map, it may seem confusing as to who to pick. Bearing in mind that most speed maps are only based on the average first split time of TAB tracks (in most cases).

We like the #1 here because of the draw. The strength in a 23.89 Gardens run, and the winning strike-rate.

#7 FACT OR FANTASY is going to be the value. Maybe a small place bet.

Result 7-3-1 the value bet won at $9.70/$2.90. The inside didn't finish off the race as those outwide kicked away a little in the end. Was a good run from the 3.

it's not over at mandurah at good odds, won from this draw recently and looks a likely winner at $8 currently.

1,2 quinella looks a sound bet

2-1-6 quinella $6.90

6-1 quinella in race 4

looking at the 8 to place at long odds, long time since a win but the drop in class could see her move up especially being close to the likely leader. 9.50 for the place currently

the 1 got up at 13.90 and 2.80. 3 ran in second.

tough race 5

the tote has the 1 at 1.30 currently however i think ill lay the favourite and go for the value.

really like the 2 the drop in class should see it there abouts.
the 3 im not so sure of place chance
like the 4 as well injury effected and is bound to come good soon.

cant see the 1 being beaten here although 4 is a threat if fit however on return seems a big task. the 8 runs very well from the wide draw and should be in all exotics. roughie is the 2 who drops a class and looks to perform, could just follow the likely leader home.

that gave the quaddie a massive boost i suspect the majority would have had swispec one out.

race 9- the 7 looks the likely favourite here but ive gone with the 2 for value as it has been placed behind swispec in a quick time.

also like the 1 who last week ran a secon behind swispec. the 7 to make up for third for mine.

finally i would write off the 5 in this is capable of a handy run, will add value and is a chance to win.

race 10- my favourite is in number 8 however zinnability is better suited to the inside however im gonna put it in my top 3 because its my favourite.
