Race changed complexion in the final stages with Didak dropping back quite quickly.

TRUE ENFORCER PLACE bet at Maitland, fav will demolish them. Quinella #1,3,8 XX...Fav easily $1.40 was a surprise.

Yep, not a good omen when you name your pup after a Collingwood player.
As my boss says when he goes off to the toilet.

"Going to give birth to a Collingwood supporter"

Bendigo Race 3 #4 TEEMING TINA, second run back after a long break. Ran ok up the straight at Healesville, times were slow that day, so would ignore the time.

Your getting unders for the outsiders. XX

Hehehe.

At least you know she can hold her own, as that first bend she got trodded on from the rear by the 2, then the 2 went to go to the outside and smashed into her again. She had good box speed from that inside draw which was nice.

Kierand Lad who beat her, actually got just as good as a start, and didn't find as much trouble as Black Sabre, going into the first corner. If the 2 hadn't of clipped Kieran Lad just as momentum was going, then the winning margin would have been bigger.

But good luck to the owners.

Thanks mate. :thumbsu: She has certainly found her alley for us after being stuck on the outside her last two runs. Looking forward to seeing a replay :)

Bendigo Race 5 #3,4,5,6 Quinella/TRI X

Verteran Stake....Rib Tickler should demolish this field.
#3 EW...hard to make real case for, but have been on last two starts. Might get some luck here. X

Maitland Race 6 Will be interesting to see what sort of time the inside box runs here, as is a good type.

I like #4 JUST SPUD for a place....#1,4 quinella.

Exacta 1-4,5 too.

Early Wentworth Pk Quad

1,2/F/8/F $128. Pretty sure they are the right numbers, i dont have the guide in front of me!.

I think magnifique can get beaten in the 1st leg. IMO Laurie's Placard will lead and has run very good time at WP & unbeaten from the #1 box. Think its the value of the night ($5+ hopefully). Of course magnifique has to go in , its a very special dog. He has Laurie covered down the back, hopefully laurie can get a bit of a lead. If magnifique leads, it wins, simple as that.

Kelmatt's picks itself in the 7th, just nothing else in the race. Will lead by a mile and win by 10-12.

As for the field legs, there will be a shorty in Rebs secret but i think there is any one of 3 or 4 that can beat it and as per my rules if i find 4 chances in a race i take the field. Something like steadfast tammy can bolt to the lead and she did run a 30.17 last time. Probably needs to go a touch quicker in the run home but if she gets out in under 5.45 she's going to be right up there. probably needs to go around in 30.08ish to win but she definately can.

Same goes for the last leg, fairly sure the winner will come from Hendrix and the speed in the 6,7,8 but thats 4 which means take the field!. There is also the unknown in irinka samuel up from melbourne. Probably cant do much over the 520m though but worth throwing in.

The Meadows Race 1

Go to www.thewatchdog.com.au for all your form-guides on The Meadows for tonights action. I use rocket scientist form-guide as it has the most information.

For all runs on Warragul 9th June, the track was wet and I would ignore the times unless they ran under 24.20, as they were good times for these conditions.

#1 Keiths Memory began quickly last start at Warragul from box 4 and took an early lead. Didn't muster up that much middle race speed and switched to the rails. All wins have come from outwide, so might not like dogs on outside of him. Might be a tad weak for this distance and class.

#2 Dyna Flecther was a good run last time out at The Meadows. Winner went 30.40, but Dyna Fletcher spotted the leaders about 7 lengths off the back after being caught up in early bother when slightly dragged down from behind. Closed in exceptionally quickly. And this time around, doesn't have to hang around in the kennels until Race 10, is straight out in Race 1. As some dogs get nervous, excited as they wait for long periods of time in the kennels. Definately worth a bet here.

#3 Morgan Bros looks to have lost his early speed, but is down in grade here after racing agains the likes of Hanfiy's Impact, Hot Puzzle and Mr.Moorooduc in the past few months. Can surprise though, so I wouldn't leave out of exotics as is better class dog than some here.

#4 Grip The Stick was inititally slow out of the boxes last start from box 4, but quickly surged through the pack to sit 3 wide outside the leaders by the first bend at Bendigo. really came into his own in the last 50m and started to run away from the leader Cool Burst who had a clean rails run the whole race. The time was only 1 tenth out of BOD. And did break 30sec at Sandown at the end of April. Huge query though. 1 win from 14 starts at this track and distance with a further 5 placings.

#5 Perfect Future was beaten 3.5l in BOD at Traralgon last start out by Super Modern in a 7 dog race.Pinged the lids and opened up a 3 length gap, but struggled coming onto the home straight. Although once passed, did seem to regain some momentum. Has a solid record of beginning quickly and if Traralgon is anything to go by, will be 2 lengths ahead by the bend tonight. Needs to lead though.

#6 Not Mum's Choice came up with the lids last time at Ballarat and by the time they had gone 10m or so, was already 1.5l behind. Went straight to the rails, avoiding the trouble in the middle of the pack. Did cop a check mid-race, but railed up hard and really went on with the race. Fantastic run in 25.61. Has won at the track/distance before in a more than handy 30.08..24th Dec 08. Is only 2/11 wins from box 4 and wider. 1 being last start. With the 5 being a pinger, the gap might be too much to claw back.

#7 Fitzy Bale is the second most experienced dog in the race behind #3 Morgan Bros and knows this track quite well with 7/15 placings here. Last win was in Feb when found a purple patch of form, but since then has been beaten by ....Cindeen Shelby (29.65 Meads), Taipan Bale (25.08 Ballarat), Pure Love (24.04 Bendigo), Turanza Bale (29.66 Meads). And you would have to assume that the dog has lost a little bit of confidence, is coming back from a small injury as given 5 day break by the vet last time out. This race is much more suitable and enjoys racing out-wide with 6/11 wins from boxes 6-8. With the 6 slow out, and the 5 quick, might give Fitzy Bale a nice clean run to the bend, something that you would want if backing this dog.

#8 Glen Abbey Tom finished 5th in Wangaratta cup heats behind Topline Dovee last start. Last Monday;s video's arn't up, so the recording must have played up over the weekend. Which is a shame! But from the race itself, Glen Abbey Tom was never in it and found plenty of bother from the squeeze box in a top-class race. You can definately ignore that run, and look back to 21st May when won at Sandown in 30.11 when came through the field. Has 13/17 career placings. This rasce is quite suitable, just hard to know where he is going to figure entering the first bend as being slow out, with the 6, might be pushed out wide as those from the inside boxes kick out, with some liking to get off the track.

VALUE PICK ---->>> #2 Dyna Flecther. Can get a clean run box 2 and punch up on the rails. Only issue, is might get crowded mid race, and if can miss the bottle-neck should kick away.

Selections: 5-7-2-6 3-5-8-4

Suggested First 4's

5-2,6,7-2,6,7-F $20 for $1
5,7-2,5,6,7-F-F $180 for $1
2,5,6,7-2,5,6,7-F-F $360 for $1

Going with a quaddie tonight at The Meadows. Think it's a 'jackpot' quaddie as well, not sure exactly what extra benefits there are, possibly a little more money I presume. Hopefully someone can fill me in. Anyway, my quaddie for tonights meeting at The Meadows is;

Race 5: 1 - Amity Bale, 5 - Headley Bale, 7 - Sitting Bear
Race 6: 1 - Sweet Keeping, 3 - Daisy Baxter, 6 - Same Consequence
Race 7: 1 - Droopy Monelli, 2 - Like This, 5 - Jordy's Reward
Race 8: 1 - Who Told Helen, 2 - Gisborn Bale, 6 - Din's Son

#8 Glen Abbey Tom

If I was putting a bet on the first race, this dog would be the one I'd put it on. Seems to have a strong finishing burst so is more than capable of running over the top of Perfect Future and/or Morgan Bros. Should get a clear run from the eight as well, might have to win the hard way but is capable of a win here.

Yes there is a $10,000 Jackpot in the quaddie tonight at The Meadows, and a $10,000 jackpot in Race 1's First 4. I would say more value in the First 4 than the Quaddie considering that there are less combinations in a F4, but the same jackpot.

Race 1 #7 FITZY BALE is scratched.

Have to change selections and bets now.

#10 (7) Jazzed Up Jax Has 20/28 placings with a strong placing at Traralgon behind #5 Perfect Future in 30.08. Enjoys racing outwide with 7/9 placings from boxes 7-8 and 4/5 placings over this track and distance. Likely to be in the market and his speed could be a huge factor in how the race plays out.

Selections: 5-2-6-8

First 4:

5-2,6,8-2,6,8-F $30 for $1
2,5-2,5,6,8-F-F $180 for $1
2,5,6,8-2,5,6,8-F-F $360 for $1

Race 2 525m Grade 5 Heat

#1 Rock's Back was a good run 9th June at Horsham when second in 28.03. Would ignore the time, as started slowly and was checked mid-race when coming right into it. Had to weave through the traffic and finished on strongly for second. Distance will suit as has won over 600m at The Meadows in 35.18. Only 3 wins from 20 starts is a concern. Top chance as will be strong in the finish and has won from this box before.
Last start run: #6

#2 On Holiday's won well at Healesville in May when surging through the field from the non-preferred box 2. One of the best times of the day in slow conditions. Ran 19.78 at Geelong over the shorts there, so can definately match motors when them early, and from this box will get a good look at the rail early, especially if the 1 is slow out again. Last start at Meadows ran wide for most of the race from box 8, and it took its toll on the red fawn dog who struggled in the closing stages of the race.
Last start: #8
http://www.dartfish.tv/Player.aspx?CR=p7098c2865m33705

#3 Majestic Oasis is the likely leader in this race from box 3. 5.12 first split at Meadows is quite good for this field. But the problem is if Majestic Oasis misses the kick, then the race is over as doesn't have the strength to give the leaders a start in 500m races. Scored a fantastic 25.29 Warrnambool win in April, and has won at Sandown in 30 flat and 30.21 when hit a purple patch of form in Feb. Not without a chance.
Last start: #3
http://www.dartfish.tv/Player.aspx?CR=p7098c2865m33704

#4 Abode hasn't won since Feb, when scored a 30.22 win over this trip. Does like to get off the track a little bit on the first bend, which won't help from this squeeze box. Began with them last time out, but first split was 5.20. Not enough to get clear room by the bend, and I think will find trouble. From this draw, I cannot suggest.
Last start: #6
http://www.dartfish.tv/Player.aspx?CR=p7098c2865m33698

#5 Joshua Allen is by far the most inexperienced chaser in this field and from box 5, that may prove to be a problem. Hasn't raced over 500m yet, but has shown enough at Geelong and Ballarat to suggest that he will get the trip. The inexperience and the box is a worry. Doesn't have the right early speed to do damage from box 5, and being first trip over 500m, might need a trouble free run to make the trip in competitive fashion.
Last start: #5
http://www.dartfish.tv/Player.aspx?CR=p7098c2865m33871

#6 Richie Wabbit 29.84 Sandown winner in March from box 3. But next start came out of box 7 and wanted the rails big time, and does need a rails run to do best as has only won 1/12 starts from boxes 4 and wider. That is of great concern, but if begins slowly like last start and gets the rails, will be the one motoring home to take the win. Especially considering last start run when charged home in 30.16 at Meadows after a 5.36 first split. Great run.
Last start: #2
http://www.dartfish.tv/Player.aspx?CR=p7098c2865m33704

#7 Saiung does her best racing from out-wide and has solid form at Sandown, but in her two starts at The Meadows has failed. Can step out of the boxes quite quickly and will have plenty of room to swing wide on the bends. But looking at last 5 starts at Sandown, first splits have been: 5.16, 5.25, 5.31, 5.29, 5.18. Doesn't boast the best of consistency which is a worry. Is still inexperienced with 13 starts, so needs to begin on terms.
Last start: #4
http://www.dartfish.tv/Player.aspx?CR=p7098c2865m33359

#8 Day Out is having his 100th start tonight and is by far the most experienced dog in the field, but is also almost 5 years of age. Whelped Oct 04. Has 10/13 placings with 5 wins from this draw, so is favoured out-wide, but doesn't begin that quickly. That isn't so much of a problem though, judging by the pace on his inside which varies considerably. Won over this trip in 30.31 in March after scoring a 25.75 win at Geelong. So is still in touch with his form. 13/23 career placings over this trip. Is down in class and I think will provide some nice value. Ingore last run as seen below
Last start: #3
http://www.dartfish.tv/Player.aspx?CR=p7098c2865m33422

Selections: 6-1-3-8

Value Pick ---->>> #8 Day Out will be huge overs in this field and does best racing from this trip and looks ready to be back amongst the placings.

Anyway, my quaddie for tonights meeting at The Meadows is;

Race 5: 1 - Amity Bale, 5 - Headley Bale, [strike]7 - Sitting Bear[/strike]
Race 6: 1 - Sweet Keeping, [strike]3 - Daisy Baxter[/strike], 6 - Same Consequence
Race 7: 1 - Droopy Monelli, 2 - Like This, [strike]5 - Jordy's Reward[/strike]
Race 8: 1 - Who Told Helen, [strike]2 - Gisborn Bale[/strike], 6 - Din's Son

Knocked the following runners out of my quaddie, to have two runners in each leg which minimises costs. ;)

Great Source.

Not sure if you have considered doing this before.

But when betting quaddies, you should seperate your selections into group of odds, and have more $$ per combination based on the odds that are going to be available.

Because the bottom line, you wouldn't have the same amount of money riding on a $30-1 shot as you would on a $2-1 shot. So you need to make sure that in your quaddie's you are not doing that either.

I'm still trying to get my head around it too.

It also takes a lot of time to devour the 81 combinations to come to a genuine conclusion of how to place X amount on each of the combinations to reap the benefits.
