Some dogs are suited to inside, some dogs are suited out-wide and some dogs are suited to some tracks over others.oaks, i have noticed your hitting the top 2 selections very frequently and then missing out on the third or fourth, just wondering how closely you look at box records before making the third and fourth selection because in my opinion that is a big factor in the minor placings, as well as early speed out of the box.
keep up the good work mate
Most of the time it evens itself out in the long-run. But for some reason there are some dogs, that just don't win from box 1 or box 8 which is what you are talking about. And as far as the third and fourth selections go, I'm not too concerned about those stats to be honest.
Take a G5 dog running in FFA. Draws 8 in all three races, yet is unplaced. Stats would say, is poor dog from box 8 with 0-3. But in reality, the pink will suit the dog in this race.
I think it's better to 'predict' the pattern of the race based on the dogs efforts rather than pure stats.
