Interesting choice by trainer and he obviously knows the dog better than anyone else but I am under the impression it wont get 545 strong? With that being said, it is dropping significantly in class verse the likes of Bosca Wabbit etc who it has been racing against and when shorter course dogs step up in distance they can normally ping and put a gap on their opponents who are usually slower out but stronger at the end. If this happens, he is a chance of leading all the way. Will be an interesting test for it today. I am looking forward to the race.

You obviously haven't watched him run mate :D:D He is as strong as a ox and will run out the 600 with ease. He has been crying out for the extra distance as the 450's is to short for him. Will be back to the city now to win some city races:thumbsu:

#4 COVER UP has the early speed to lead this, but Traralgon 513 isn't a typical leaders distance. Especially ones that weaken, Cover Up weakens heavily over 440m..... so this will be a huge test. This opens up the race for #5 AMAROO WHIRL who should get a nice clean start, as 6 will be slower and 7 should cross in front to sit behind the early leader. #8 is the real query. I have on suitablity and performance. Probably doesn't have the best box in this race though, so make sure your getting OVERS.

#1 is unknown. GEts best box.

#2 doesn't have much hope. #3 will be running home late, but will get chopped early. Hard to recover.

#7 should just sit off the heels down the back and be too strong over the final 80m meanwhile the swoopers 3,5 charge. 8 thereabouts. Have second as can see lucky run opening up.

GUTTER BLACK (8) is ideally drawn out wide and he looked impressive when scoring at Sandown Park last week in 30.11.

loll... dog is a case for the red box. Gets old reading complete stupid comments regarding certain dogs. Could post 10 a week that are the opposite of what is said.

Should be a good lay for the race... Led all the way when pinging from the cherry which is a rarity for this dog but could only clock 30.11 on the bunny..Granted, first up from a tumble(when i unloaded on him grrr), but don't know if its going as good as the early promise showed. Box 8 is definitely not an ideal box.

Sent out raging hot favourite @ $2.20 and missed a drum. Pretty obvious....

Yawns...No speed inside and it bombs the start and gets polaxed...Ran on well for 3rd and paid $1.60 a drum.

With this in mind, we target the early speed and class of the inside draws and have them leading at the bend. #4 COOL WABBIT does face a difficult task from this draw, but does have the pace to muster up quickly. #8 DIGI TWO storms home late, but will need to find early luck if he is to find the rail and charge home.

Our suggested bets are> Bet on the OVERS in the market. Box Exotics TOP 4.
 
I really like Jay Jay Fox at odds in the first at Sandown

A race which is really showcasing a lot of the upcoming young stars in dog racing, the most impressive of last week's heat winners Arsonist, has everything gone its way. It was has ended up with the red and on top of that, the very slow early. Enry Walt drawn on its outside. With Iceman Raik in box 3, Enry Walt will definitely not get any dream runs tonight and I completely rule out the $3 second elect in this race.

Arsonist is the clear odds on favorite, but to me its no value. The pick which stands out and screams at me as definitely one to be on, is Wild Haley. The way she races, box 8 will suit for certain. Thrown in the deep end when skittled in a heat of the Laurels where Queen Lauryn when a ridiculous 29.40?ish or 29.60, cant remember. Was quick tho. This dog's win last, albeit in a far slower time then a few runners proved to me this dog can run in the city. She is fixed odds at $8.50 at the moment, and that is overs. Back her each way on the night, and I do not think you can go wrong.

it happened exactly like you said it would :eek: ....fell behind the leaders from the wider box then railed it up the back straight.

absolutely stoked with that run! very nice odds for the place as well...

and it wasnt long ago he was fighting an infection from cut wrists and was absolutely mauled by Pure Buddy Show

Heard about the wrists, surprised when he was back in action so quickly after he cut his wrists considering his future, then did further damage. Poor form from the trainer me thinks.

That was a disgraceful race, Dog banned for a year, but the Owners/Punters get robbed.
