Very proud of Jasper last night running 3rd in the Vbis final. The winner and runner up were too good but he battled on well. Good feeling feeling just being in the final of races like that and a bonus to run a place.

Lost quite badly, i took him off as he was 1.2 u e/w, which i had won of spendles at devonport but forgot to remove the + 2.4 u from the top of my page. I was dissappointed with SA, just had to finish the race off.

Feel free to post your tips, as its just me, vince and beauy atm.

Hey Vince, Jessinia Bale is back!

Dunno if you saw it, was a very good run, got some good early speed and once front running couldnt see her losing, extended her lead down the straight, ran 29.94 over 515, best time of the day there so far.

Yes i realise that but you cant take away from the run.

In her recent runs, she was lacking early speed and showed plenty today!

Also the time was outstanding, inferior opposition or not, it all depends whether she gets a clear run or not, wouldnt go near her if she draws a sqeeze box.

Different classes can mask that early speed though. She may have looked slow early against Woodside Woody and those other the other night, but dogs can show better speed against lower class dogs.

Velocity Regina is a case in point last night at Townsville. If you watched her recent runs, she doesn't appear to have early pace. Last night she pushes through to lead quite easy. In her recent runs she was racing the best dogs at Albion Park. Last night she meets a bunch of walkers and jumps in front.

I have found that over the years, greyhounds who don't usually have the best early pace will show it better due to pure class.

Jessenia Bale has a touch of class, and 1.90 against that opposition was nice
