Quite disappointing run. It looked to get a great run on the inside with speed coming from Helele, but when that dog did not come out running, it had to work for the lead and in turn was spat out the back.

It is all good. There will be more to come I am sure

It may well have been, but that is going back a while!

In the early 90's there were jumps races in Tasmania, and also I think at Olympic Park, but I could be wrong.

Great to watch. I don't recall them being at Wenty, but could have been before my time.

yeah i've been youtubing the ones from the UK and they look awesome.. but i don't think i'd want my greyhound jumping over them just in case

Had a gut feeling our little fella Prank Call would carve across tonight from out wide and win at Nowra. In the back of my mind there were some speedy chasers in the race and seeing he was just out of maiden class decided against going down the tab to back him. Oh well i should stick to my guns

Yep there were hurdle races at Olympic and Sandown Parks. It was a real spectacle.

A hurdler (Diamablue) actually won the Vic greyhound of the year in 1993.

Ten Doeschate (Ten Da Ska Ta) won Race 8.. $1.90 fav though!

Missed it by 3-4L.. ran wide and still held on to win.. i thought it was quite a run.

Miata no doubt is the quickest bitch i have seen at that age, actually quickets dog but i have a feeling she will struggle when she gets up to Group class over the 500m as she lacks early pace. She really needs to be able to get 700 to be a champion racer i reckon, i think she will, i hope she does.
