Yeah i bought both today, pretty hard to split, probably leaning towards NGF.

I know this is probably the wrong thread but does anyone know of a good harness equivalent? I currently buy the Winning Post and National for dogs and gallops but want something for the trots too

I was reading a mate of mines the other day, was quite similar to NGF but cant remember the name of it which is no help really.

Just look around a couple of newsagents.

Congrats mate, really good stuff. Is that your first ever winner?

Miata no doubt is the quickest bitch i have seen at that age, actually quickets dog but i have a feeling she will struggle when she gets up to Group class over the 500m as she lacks early pace. She really needs to be able to get 700 to be a champion racer i reckon, i think she will, i hope she does.
na mate first dog called disappearing act had a win for us.. was an absolute gun til a trainer wrecked our dreams for us..

ohh by the way he is entered in at horsham on tuesday race 10 at 6:48pm.. but he had box 5.. so his first start in grade 5 we will see how he does considering he is still 1kg overweight and not the quickest out...

Wow

I thought for sure they clocked the lure at Sandown, but nope, time was correct.

The 2nd dog was as green as grass, and I think we just saw two superstars.

Wonder what else is in the litter, and if it could be a litter like the McLarens had with Awesome, Larrikan and co.

I had it on in the background but didnt watch, what times did they run and what was the margin for third?

29.14 track record, old one was 29.29 from memory, so the 2nd dog would have pushed it too.

Didn't get the margins, but daylight did clock in third ;)

Anyone found inside info on the 9 hobart race 1, jumps in a minute, anyone brave enough to back against it?

Yeah Hestin Bale beat Bekim Bale.

Irma Bale in the Oaks final tonight is also a littermate.

Matcott has one in SA too, but hasn't done anything in 3 starts

Irma Bale has been very good too, will be hard for it tonight though i would imagine

Wandy Neg kills them. It must have trialed the house down because it ran a sensational 26.02 first go at the track in a race!

Wandy Neg, a young El Galo pup, haven't really been taking notice, but haven't seen too many of them yet. Haven't heard much either.

Big night tonight.

You've got Angle park race 8 with the likes of Miata, Jessinia Bale, Irma Bale. Might steer clear of that one, should go to miata but she cant be giving up early speed like last week.

Dapto Race 3, Basically Midnight Hussy vs Magic Ghost, very good quinella, who should win? Could go either way really, my head is telling me Midnight Hussy.

Dapto race 6, probably biggest race of the night, so much quality in this race its tough where to look. I think Unfinished will show early speed but the pace is coming from behind and he wont hold on, ill probably take the 4, with 1 and 6 the big dangers.

Racecard to follow.

Got to love a winning quinella

Going to have a couple small bets while im watching. At Angle Park ill take a quaddie of Black Hombre / Allen Lawson / Field / Field. One at Hobart too of 2,3,5,8/1,5/4,8/4,7 - Just a bit of fun

Winklee Warrior in the next at hobart to place too. Always gets back and powers home at huge odds. Usually misses out by a length or so on a placing but this looks like a good race for him to pick up some tired ones and run third at big odds. A must include for first fours.

Killed me Miata, absolutely killed me.

Thats still freakish how he came back though.

Yeah, biggest certainty I have seen beaten in a while.

That is racing though, can't really blame anything but herself.

Damn missed the race. Can anyone give me a run down of what happened with her? Also the time if you got it?
She was last at the post, with the other runners in a bunch, and trouble happened. Somehow she made it through on her feet, charges the last half of the race, beaten around 2 lengths in 29.60 odd. Should have won by 4, but her inability to muster cost her tonight.

Thanks mate. Yeah it appears that is going to be her problem but to be honest i love dogs like that who get back and charge home, it adds some excitement into the race. Hopefully she can stay.

I clocked Miata's run home at 12.35.

That is simply unheard of. 12.80 is quick home.

She will stay, and she will be a champion stayer at that.
