I clocked Miata's run home at 12.35.

That is simply unheard of. 12.80 is quick home.

She will stay, and she will be a champion stayer at that.
Miata has been slow out and in trouble her last 3, it is time to step her up in distance.

Watch the track records fall where ever she starts.

Couldn't agree more Vince, already way overdue. 600 should be her minimum distance until they can improve her starts and early speed. I've missed her last two runs, no improvement?

Put a young dog over the distance and they dont handle it and it is generally ruined. When you have a very fast pup like this putting it over the distance is a last decision. If she didnt handle it its not like you can drop her back to the sprints and expect her to go the same times as she is now. Give her time to try to sort out her early splits or give her an easy kill some where. You dont rush into putting a good dog over the distance

Just jumped average, and because the class of dog she is racing now is better, it is harder to muster. Been big runs both times, winning one, running a place last night. Will brain them over 600.

Miata is a star. A superstar.

The step up in distance is needed now, as she is getting knocked around and you run the risk of her not missing major trouble such as a fall, which she has up until this point.

There is not one iota of evidence in any of her runs that she will not be even better as the distances increase.

Normal greyhound thinking is thrown out the window when a once in a generation bitch comes on the scene.

Wait, she ran second or third? I noticed she was up in class earlier in the day, still thought she should win, what happened in that one?

Was never out of trouble. Each time she looked like getting clear, another dog would lay on her or take her run.
