Re: GRFL Part 3

Hay will be one of the main contenders for the premeirship cup this season after signing Henry Playfair.

**** me, if true then no-one here would be able to match up on him. May have to re-consider my thoughts on Wandella's quest for 4 on the spin.[/quote]

please dont insult our intelligence with this, Hay would need more than one washed up AFL player to win the flag from where they were in 2010.

Just ignore him Lace-he will be at school to begin Year 8 in a week or two.Not that I should reply to your comment in regards to Shane Harvey as it is another of your schoolyard rumours but he signed at his old club North Heidleberg in early October.(North Heidleberg is in Melbourne Huntzy-you might get to go on the choo choo train on an excursion there when you get a big boy):thumbsd:

I would think that there would be more than one player heading there with him crumber. Thinking Wakool 2006. Harvey and co rock up and when the flag for them.
As for insulting your 'intelligence' may I direct your attention to one of your efforts last year:

Murrabit will be 'it' when they win the flag,
because Wandella are a bunch of ****,
Recently Nully havent played enough football,
Wandella are going backwards that fast they're almost at a crawl,
Despite Big Bad Billy McGowan is at the end of his tether,
The grand final will exhibit some fine weather,
Ultima, Macorna, Hay, Wakool and Moula will all be on the gas,
Wandella netballers dont have so much as a fine lass,
In the big one I tip Ettershank to be best afield,
Lets just hope his crop brings a good yield,
It is almost the end of 2010,
Wont be long before footy season comes around again.

I'd say thats some fine rhyming and use of the english language. An insult of intelligence...yes you are right as you probably dont cut the mustard to understand or appreciate.

'Wandella are a bunch of ****.' Yep, beautiful poetry right there. Are you head of the local chapter of Mensa crumber?
As for the rest of the league, have there been other movements amongst the clubs?

Re: GRFL Part 3

Cant you think of anything origianal mate, Hay will smash everyone this year with the side they have recruited :D

They will have needed to recruited a lot of very good players as there list from previous years hasnt been great. Who is playfair bring? whats the connection?

Im pretty good mates wif the new coach and he hasn't mentioned henry at all. They have picked up a few from deni and a couple from albury in the oven and king league. They seem to be going in the right direction but don't know about smashing everyone.

Massive call to say they are going to smash everyone, but it is good to hear they are heading in the right direction after having some tough years on the field.

Just a minor technical error there Hunter, Albury play in the Ovens and Murray not the Ovens and King league. Fair bit of diff between the 2 leagues.

Re: GRFL Part 3

Macorna are playing Bridgewater and Serpintine in practice matchers this year. Any other teams have there's locked in yet?

Will be interesting! Last years Premiers in Bridgewater and Serp who did not win a game! Hope for the Tigers that Serp is the first game! This way you may be able to trial some youth? Also the Tigers never seem to have their full list of numbers until closer to the first real game! Good Luck to Metro!

Re: GRFL Part 3

The Tigers should be looking at a good year this year. Got a fair way to go to get to the Wandella's, Murrabit's and Nullawil's of the world. Let's hope the gap shortens a bit which would make for a hard fought season.

Guys what is Murrabit's secret......I remember being over that way years ago ( when big Carl was coaching) and they were up and about then and still seem to be there. Do they do it well off the ground or just careful recruitment etc....

Good recruits who also stay for a couple of seasons. Also good juniors that come through. A tight knit club.

Re: GRFL Part 3

Still have not heard who is coaching the Wakool Hawks this year? Can someone help fill in the blank? Also how are the Hawks looking this Year? Do they have any new recruits or who have they lost?
