Not really an NFL fan (I loosely follow the Seahawks and only really pay attention to the Super Bowl) but I watched the KC-Pats game, just because I wanted to see the Pats lose. I hope they get crushed, sick of seeing them in the Super Bowl all the time.
It's actually sad to see them in there again after such an average year (for their standards). The only reason they are there is because the AFC is just crap at the moment. KC really should've won but the NFL and it's OT rules are devoid of reason. Basically boils down to whoever wins the toss.

Nice to see another cheesehead around here. I too support the Packers, but as with so many things, I was influenced by TV. That 70’s Show, to be precise.

Well it isn't the worst reason to find a team.

FYI also a cheesehead here, started supporting them after watching the pregame for Super Bowl XXXI and some of the player interviews that they showed.

It would be cool to get a survey for Australia NFL support. I'd like to think there would be a lot of Aussie Packer fans by virtue of their colour scheme. Those who are on the Patriots bandwagon would probably come in second I'd imagine. Then probably your Seahawks fans and then a mix of niche fans.

On a note more related to the thread, I really like the simplicity of the Colts' unis
Colts' are probably my favourite blue uniform in the league. They keep things simple with their uni, no bullcrap. I respect that.

Also another thing I like is the white helmet. I think white helmets are very underrated in the NFL. Sometimes they don't work, but in this case they work well with the Colts here.

Like this?

More or less, yeh haha.
wishing injuries on a player is bad enough, having a fantasy about players (and I guess if the stadium is imploding officials, staff and tens of thousands of fans too) dying because you don't like a sports team is pretty ****** up.
Maybe it is ****ed up, what's it to you?

I think the Seawahks use of lime green is underrated.

I'm gonna fly the flag for the Dolphins 'round the FJGD #finsup. In terms of our jerseys, the fans love our alternate jersey (the same one we wore in the Miami Miracle) and I'm keen to see us wear it full-time:

Our home jerseys actually came up well last season with a brighter shade of aqua and coral (plus the removal of navy blue) but the alternate is leaps and bounds better than this:

Screen Shot 2019-01-25 at 5.04.17 pm.png

The only thing I'd suggest if we brought on the alternate full-time is to clean up the number font, possibly to this years font. It will help the jersey look modern-ish and it's much cleaner than the blocky style we saw on the alternate this year

And on the logo debate (which has raged in Miami ever since it were introduced) I actually quite like it. If we switch jerseys, maybe the colour of the Dolphin could darken (unlikely this needs to happen though, it's a great shade now). I guess the die-hard fans over in Florida got attached to the old logo (especially because it is essentially the same design we used during the Perfect Season/Super Bowl/Marino eras).

This is the current logo, which I'm a fan of

This is the best-looking of the older logos, used from 1980-1996. Earlier it was too light, and later on it became too cartoony. This one was perfect

Our unis are kind meh really - blame the side panels:

Love to see the colour rush + white version of the shorts (and maybe a blue collar?)

I agree, though the alternate (which is really just a throwback) could be cleaned up a tad to give it a modern twist.

For example, the Browns used to have a similar set of cuff stripes with their 2000's uniforms. They continued with them on their newest sets of uniforms however gave them quite a beautiful upgrade:

Dolphins could definitely give this a shot to make their new unis 110%.

caloschwaby is it possible to attach a poll? Will it even fit every team?

Unfortunately not as it won't allow me to make 22 possible poll answers :(
Only other way would be to ask what division your team is in?

Also considering this is somewhat a Gridiron general discussion thread, I think it's worth sharing this: https://aaf.com/

The Alliance of American Football is a new minor-league American Football competition that starts it's inaugural season on Feb 10th.
They have a solid set of team identities that have some likewise solid logos:

Really like that express logo, will be interesting to see what the jerseys are like for the Apollos with the ochre colour scheme...

Here's a bit of a recent news dump for NFL uniforms.

New Orleans Saints Color Rush Uniform voted best NFL uniform for this season.

It's an okay uniform in my opinion but far from the best, do like the shoulder stripes though.

Alshon Jeffery (Eagles Wide-Reciever) wants Philly to return to the Kelly-Green uniforms.

Here is the 'Kelly Green' uniform.

Ignoring the nostalgia aspect, which often blinds us, there's nothing incredibly amazing about this uniform which supersedes their current kit. It will just add another green team into the mix. The midnight green they have now is fairly unique identity and they have now won a Super Bowl in it so I don't see a reason to go back to what has been a depressing history.

Broncos looking into new uniform for 2019.

I was predicting this would happen all last season after I heard the sales for their Color Rush kits. I fully support this, while their uniform in its current state isn't that bad, maybe a tweak to the old colour scheme and a bit of excitement added to the uniform might propel them into playoff success, it worked for Richmond and WC right?

Only just realized all the AAF uniforms are for sale on their shop. Real cheap compared to NFL, and I wouldn't say the quality is much worse than what Nike would put out. Really love the Fleet design, and there's something about the Arizona Hotshots colour scheme that just works for some reason.

Another potential New York Jets uniform/logo leak, this time looking far more legit.

The logo is a nice update, but I'm pretty sure one of the Jets players came out and tweeted out that it wasn't the actual uniform. From the black featured on the hat it appears like black is going to become a main feature of the uniform which is strange to say the least but might give them some more identity apart from being 'that other green team'.
