Yep, confirmed new Jets unis/logo.
Looks a lot more modern and classy compared to their previous kits. Like the Titans, its great to see them move to a coloured helmet as they had no real reason to have a white helmet and it looked ugly and lazy.

Nah they are definitely an improvement over what they had before.

Likes:

Colours are really good. Much prefer the new Gotham Green over the old Hunter Green, the saturation is much more pleasing to look at when they are getting smashed by teams each week :p The addition of black was also a good move, gives them heaps more options in terms of identity.

New Helmet works well with green. Seems like teams are slowly jumping off the white helmet bandwagon, the Titans last year and now the Jets.

Dislikes:

'New York' wordmark. For similar reasons why I dislike the wordmark on the Browns' jersey. Too obtrusive to the actual design so it should have been scaled down or all together removed.

Font is meh. Was expecting them to go with something more exciting but I can tolerate it.

Overall the uniform gives me college football vibes, which isn't a bad thing but sometimes teams can get themselves wrapped up in trying to be the Oregon Ducks 2.0 (cough...cough... Titans) that they end up changing too much about their own identity.

I'll give this uniform upgrade a 6.5/10

I generally agree with you Nato, love the new green. I think the black set is a little unneccessary but it's modern sports design so everyone gets black. Overall it's a nice modern update of a tired look, despite being a little on the generic side.

After all have been said and done with the AAF, who do y'all think had a best kit?
Quite a good balance of colours in the league and they contrast quite well without the need for away uniforms (excl. Birmingham v San Diego, which the Fleet did make an away kit for that matchup).
I'm going to have to say San Antonio Commanders.

The Fleet were probably my favourite from the AAF. They're the first uniform that comes to mind when I think AAF. Shame it didn't work out.

Great change there by the chargers, such a classic look for them.

Wow that looks cool, and it's most probably real too. I've been hearing chatter that each team is going to have a throwback uniform for a specific era. Not sure if they're all going to wear it all in some random week as a celebration or either they will just wear it as a regular alternate throughout the season. Going to be a big year for NFL throwbacks, the good the bad and the ugly.

This was revealed a few weeks back, Miami will be wearing this Week 2 against the Patriots, which coincides with Dolphins legend Dan Marino's 58th birthday. Look fresh as.

This is the new Steelers throwback, quite a minor change back to the old block numbers. I would say this is lazy but it's better than their bumblebee throwback that's for sure and it's not like there's much else they can 'throwback' to.

Am I the only one that liked the bumblebee throwback? It was different!
I liked it in the same way I like the Packers throwback. Looks sexy because it's an old, heritage design brought back, but it aesthetically isn't too good :p
Though the Packers' throwback dark blue, gold and tan do compliment each other quite nicely.
