All you guys, Melburnians in particular...

What's the American gridiron coverage like, cable or otherwise? I understand there are a couple NFL games on every week.

I'm more of a college gridiron fanatic, and I expect to see very little if any while I'm there...I'm probably going to have game tapes sent to me.

My fiancee says she recalls seeing college bowl games on TV but little else.

I'm willing to pay a bit for cable or even satellite if that would help.

Yeah only pay tv Stealth, that's why I'm not in that NFL fantasy game. How I long for the days when Don lane used to host a two hour program on the NFL, great stuff. I didn't even used to mind when the AFL season was over, especially if the Bombers weren't travelling too well and the 49ers were right up there. The tables have certainley turned though with San Fran. in a re-building faze with Young gone and Rice in the twilight of his career.

Must say they gave me some great memories though, Jerry Rice is one of the best athletes I've ever seen in any sport, LEGEND (hence my username). I truly think he helped both Montana and Young elevate to a higher plain, he was an essetial part of their greatness.

Loved to watch "Neon Dieon Sanders" too, different type than Rice but always exciting. Must have been the most versatile player ever when he played for the Falcons, his punt returns were sensational.

Cheers.
