I posted this in the trade thread, but when was the last time an out of contract player and top 10 draft pick nominated the bottom team to be traded too? And we're not just the bottom team, we've been the worst performing team over the last 3 years.

We can swap a future second rounder for someone's second this year. Something in the mis/late 20's. That should be more than enough.

Pick 19 priority is too high for Logue given the leverage we have and what he is worth .

If that was an agreeable deal I’d throw in the PP future 3rd for their future third. Maybe frame it as

PPf2 for logue and f3

With how the AFL has f*cked us we need to play a bit hard ball. Take our future third or we walk him to the PSD. Freo can blame Gil for the mess.

As for Logue, we haven’t heard from the horses mouth that he wants a fair deal for both parties, could just be early posturing from Bell.

Regardless wouldn’t you want the team you’re going to spend the next few years of your life playing for to have the best capital to improve quickly? F*ck a fair deal.

We pay lip service to the "fair deal" by offering the future 3rd. Then Griffen can go to the PSD with a clear conscience.

Is Tucker still contracted ? if so we can negotiate a trade, surely no need to bundle him up with uncontracted Logue.
