The king boys McKay astronaut even logan McDonald or more valuable for freo then a ruckman.
We have a bnf winning ruckman who is 24.
If he turns one on in the second half of the season and finishes with 30+ goals I change my tune.
Jackson has kicked 6 goals in 11 games this year and his tap work pales in comparison
Darcy has kicked 6 goals in seven games this year.
There’s only a few years age difference.
The value comes from the vic media that might reflect some clubs not ours.
Like degoey being valued a million dollar player at 26 with no AA no Bnf and no ******* idea.
Interested at how you arrived at Griffin Logue being worth a 1/2/3 spot upgrade in the top 5?
Bloke was a pick 8 and is living up to the hype now that injuries have stopped troubling him

He doesn’t play for a vic club so not worth as much.
lol nice narrative. He got dropped earlier in the year. He doesnt fit into your backline so you have swung him forward. He will be overtaken by Amiss inside 12 months if he stays forward, and is already behind Taberner and Lobb, and will be miles behind Jackson should he come across.
He can absolutely play, thats why id like him at North, but he aint worth heaps.
Just out of curiosity. What do you think he is worth?

He didn't get dropped on poor form...
He has since been back in the team and we have shifted around to help balance our defense, then he went forward and has shown a heap of promise, increasing our scoring to nearly 100 points per game since going there
Jeez, Simpkin taken in the same draft and not performing in a North team, would you give him up for a pick in the 20s to 30s?

he would fit in at north no doubt, but finding the right trade will be the hard part. We would be hoping to trade say pick 30-40 (which won’t work) and freo could potentially trade him to another bidder for closer to what they are looking for.

Simpkin is our reigning b & f winner and vice captain at 24, the club sees him as one of its biggest assets and would ask for a top 10-15 pick or an established player in return
The same Simpkin thats won a best and fairest and is average over 25 touches a game over the last two seasons??
Slightly different gravy than a bloke who played for Peel earlier this year.
Was using him as a comparison as they were similar high picks, Griff won't average 25 a game but he can shut down Curnow and Cameron back to back
Then go forward and our scoring increases dramatically due to his score involvements
It's crazy that you think a pick 20 to 30 would be worth it for Griff but then not Simpkin, midfielders are a dime a dozen compared to Key forwards/backs

I think Freo fans would be disappointed in what we get for Logue and on what it costs normally to move from 5 to 2 in terms of draft picks - a pick in the teens, is probably about right but;
a) That just highlights the absurd cost of moving up in the draft, it's not worth it
b) If we were losing Logue, I'm pretty sure it'd for a pick outright
Also, that trade for Jackson is bonkers and never going to happen

Different type of player, plays on the mobile talls
also is playing as a forward right now
Players get squeezed out but at market value, not significant unders like 20 to 30
Bloke is a pick 8 and has shown he can play both ends of the ground, that with being a tall means he is a first rounder at absolute minimum
Amiss is years off and has just lost this season through injury so he is irrelevant right now

I think a pick in the teens is the absolute maximum and the pick 8 thing is close to irrelevant at this stage

It really is irrelevant after this many years, it's purely down to performance. If he leaves, it's because we dont value him enough to pay him close to market rates, it's a trade where Freo fans will be very angry I think
