quite happy to see him getting a good run in a team that needs him, as against probably fluttering in and (mostly) out of ours. would be nice depth to have, but oh well.

On crunches with a knee brace.. Generally if ACL you can walk for a bit and no limp. Fingers crossed, it's nothing serious. Definitely been great this season!

EDIT: Just saw above post.. Gotta love iPhone!

He was wearing a hinge knee brace when he walked back to the bench. Thats usually for a collateral. 4-6 weeks. Fingers crossed.

It can, I hope so, but it could be that he's damaged his collateral ligaments as well his ACL. The way he did it, it does look like the initial 'force' of the injury was sideways(ish) so that points to the medial ligament, so that's hopeful(?) ... but I was fairly hopeful on first sight that Bradley may have gotten away without an ACL, so don't put much weight on what I say. :(

Form of his life too, what a bummer.

Devastating! :(
Hope it is not as serious as feared but either way not having this bloke on the park makes things certainly a lot more challenging, especially considering the form he was in.

Bugger. Shouldn't have toasted him. Should have bagged him, then he'd be leading us to victory ala Zac Dawson.

Thought I'd bump an old thread. Funny reading some of the old comments.

Anyway I was definitely in the 'Clarke should be in the team come finals' camp but Big Griff-Dog just shut me down.

Performing well in the ruck, creating contests around the ground, kicked 2 goals against the Saints and would have kicked 2 goals against GWS if not for the blood rule.

Perfect run for him, will be settled in the side and peaking come finals.

A toast to Jon Griffin :D

Bit of warning in the thread title would have been nice!!

I read the start of the page and it was all "hope its not an ACL", "knee injury", etc. then looked at the date and it said 2013.....

Happy with Griffs performance and what he's bringing to the team. Competes hard and does a solid job. Feel more confident in Griff putting in a good GF game than Clarke.

Done excellent and shut me up as well ,wonder if having Alex P up there made it easier for all, think Clarke will still have a lot to offer.

Gotta put my hand up and say I didn't think that we'd be able to play Sandi & Griff in the same team, and that Sandi & Clarke was a more versatile combination. Thrilled to be wrong. Love the Griff.
