Against Brisbane u/18,s?The game before last, Giff had 24 pressure acts, 5 inside 50s and several tackles. Have you got any memory at all?

Ellis got found out a few times late last year when given more attention.Club waiting for more games under his belt before trying again perhaps?Ellis should be groomed as the player to create space. Give him the opportunity and he will easy surpass Grigg. Instead, he was given "run with roles" at the start of the season. There's no doubt Grigg has a massive engine, and creates heaps of space, but his disposal by foot is poor. Decision making is questionable. As an outside player, his disposal should be elite. He has that much time to pick options and deliver. but it is not happening.
Yes. The same team that beat St Kilda.....Against Brisbane u/18,s?

Staggering decision. I thought Vickery was supposed to earn his spot back in the side ? Three goals in 2 VFL games, and in the first game he did nothing ?
His career may follow the path as Jay Schulz.
Who knows at the team meeting,He might have told his fellow team mates in the "lets spill our guts session" that he should be dropped. What's more likely?
- Hardwick is a flog
- We don't know what's going on behind closed doors
I'm as surprised as anyone that he got dropped. But i'm not so stupid as to think it was simply because Hardwick 'plays favourites'. There is a reason for it. Just because we didn't get a web cam into the selection panel to explain it to us doesn't mean it was the wrong decision. FFS it could be team balance, it could be he is carrying a niggle, it could be he trained like shit, it could be ducks and drakes and he ends up playing. All of those explanations make more sense than some of the shit I have seen posted on this thread.

U/18,sYes. The same team that beat St Kilda.....![]()
Versus Vickery's 3 goals against a side the same under 18's would have annihilated!U/18,s
I agree,Vickery doesn't deserve to get promoted,But atm i prefer Vickery to be mauled by the cats than Griff getting mauled 2 weeks in a row,Something i'm sure Dimma would have made him aware of if thats the case.Versus Vickery's 3 goals against a side the same under 18's would have annihilated!
Bewildering to see Griffiths and Arnot dropped and others keeping their places.
I've defended the club and tried to keep positive but this team's selection is making it increasingly hard to keep faith in the club's direction (on field at least).
The optimist in me is hoping that I'm wrong and the inclusion of Rance and Deledio will somehow inspire Petterd, Chaplin, Thomas (if he comes in), Grigg and a few others to start playing good football again. Somehow I doubt it though.
I hope Arnot and Griffiths are only dropped for a week to help get them inform again after being relatively quiet against the Hawks.
spot on.
What I forgot to add is that while our start to the season has been poor, seeing the development and progress of players like Lloyd, Gordon, McDonough but more particularly Astbury and Griffiths - has been the only positive to take from an otherwise bleak start to the year.
I would like to see how a combination of Griff/Vickery rucking with Azza/Jack in the forward line works, it would keep us more mobile(than having Hampson on the ground) and create more marking options around the ground.
Play our normal 3 pronged forward line with one always presenting further up the ground, and rotate Griff/Vickery equally through the ruck.
We can sub one or rotate through the bench if we need a open forward line[/QUOT

There's a difference between not staring every week and not scoring ANYTHING in 3 weeks. So a young KP player should be playing consistent footy in the AFL. Give me a break, we can't expect him to star every week. Just play him. We need him to become a star ASAP.
Hopefully this is a tactical move and not a player trade.
Griff to Vicks would upset me, still needs to earn his spot back.
Griff for Edwards to generate more pressure on geelongs backs and limit rebounds is ok for this week.
But would hope griff came back in after the break.
What sort of trade value would Griffiths have?
He isn't even in the emergencies. If this is the case, I'd be pissed because our hard earned will be paying the fine when it didn't need to.I agree Tyrone has not done enough in a half of VFL to get back in. I have heard a little birdy that Griffith may actually be playing, so stay tuned![]()
