Grigg's role is to be an outside link up wingman, who breaks the lines, carries the ball, draws opponents, and dishes it off to the overlap, or hit a leading forward with a pin point 50m pass. to play this role, you need speed, the ability to run both ways, and a roost that can hit a teammate on the tit from 50m away.
Grigg cannot do any of those. Therefore, he is redundant.
look at the better outside players in the comp, they can all do this, Grigg cant. He does give his all, but its not enough anymore. Mcdonough is going to be a better outside player by the end of the year.

I'd go after McKay as well...better run, better kick, better courage....

Yeah I was responding to the poster who said its easy for people to comment behind their keyboard and it takes courage to be an AFL player. Thats absolutely correct but when players like grigg squib contests and avoid contact like he does then he's in the wrong business. If he won't walk then he must be moved on.

May be paraphrasing slightly but you have to raise your eyebrows when he defends a player twice in a 5 minute video!

you guys won the trade between the two clubs, Collins was delisted so that speaks for itself. Simply put though both players in any 22 does not a top four side make. In the end both clubs should have just delisted the players in the trade. I think many on here would agree.

Grigg, for all his faults, has finished in the top 10 of our B&F for the last 3 seasons:

10th in 2011
5th place in 2012
9th in 2013

Now he is no world beater, but added depth to a squad that was missing blokes of his age group. Was a great pick-up, but has probably served his purpose and is reaching the end of the road you'd think...
