Best way to stop people from saying "you know" is by butting in and saying...

"Well actually no, I don't know"

It really throws people off and they actually begin to realise they're saying it too often and change their way of speaking...

My step-dad used to do it to my step-bro who developed the "you know" thing.. and everytime he said "you know" my stepdad (put on thick russian accent)... "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I don't know!"

Another peeve is where people are now over-using "Obviously" .... eeeek

I love the 'yeah nah' or 'yeah no' alot of the footballers use in there after-game interviews...Classic

You know, don't you hate it when, you know, when people say, you know, you know, and when they keep saying you know, you know, and you know, stuff like you know and all that stuff you know about, you know, you know what I'm talking about, you know don't you?
You know, I'm just so bored right now.:o

Haven't seen a newcomer come on as quickly as this bloke before. No more rabbits in the headlights for No 16. He runs all day and when he loads up the left foot I get a warm surge in the goolies.

Was very pleased with his game tonight. Hope he gets time through the middle of the ground in the season proper. Agree with thy - the speed at which he's improved has been remarkable.

He actually had quite a few rotations inside the centre square at centre bounces.....he will get plenty of time through the middle.

He did tonight and I was pleased with what I saw. Competition for spots will be higher come the season proper so time will be limited - I'm sure he'll rotate through, but I'd love to see him in a more permanent attacking role.

I thought he spoke well at the press conference. He was composed and answered the questions well. Let's just say I have seen far worse!

His performance last night was great. Finds the ball and uses it well. Has really improved since his debut game against the Dees and is used to the tempo of the game.

Looking forward to seeing him progress even further this year and I think the opposition will really start to struggle to stop our midfield with the likes of Judd, Stevens, Gibbs, Murphy, Walker and Grigga rotating through it :thumbsu:

Girgg is seriously quick as well, has a lot of dash and I loved his run and carry, breaking the lines. You can never have too many players who can run and carry the ball. And he can also link up and create space.
