So here we have it the Allies bowlers' efforts to date, not much to be proud of there.
We've fallen badly from last season where only once did we conceed above 300 in an innings, losing 3 bowlers of the calibre of MB,RF#1 & GLEN has hurt us badly, to lose 1 would have been unfortunate, two careless but all 3 is just unforgivable.
Although we tried our best to recruit well we've obviously made mistakes!
In mitigation we've played on sound belting pitches this season where both sides have scored heavily but we can't hide behind that.
On a personal level after taking 50 wickets at about 16 last season I've got to be disapointed but I had a fairly healthy average of 25 befoe my old mucker Nick got me p*ssed on the night of the game & then proceeded to smash me all over the Gabba in our last match to give me match figures of 3/200.
Kretchy can hold his head up because as well as bowling reasonably well he's scored some vital runs including a century, his spin partner Hoggy must take this opportunity to reappraise his game & see where he's going wrong.
My(ex) new ball partner Seindude has consistently underperformed & seems to see his role in the side as court jester rather than contributer out in the middle. He takes a wicket every 20 overs whilst I manage 1 every 8 overs, therein lies the difference between us.
Masey is right though I must take the blame as leading bowler for not getting enough out of the boys & always being one to accept responsibility I hereby publicly tender my resignation to TheMase for the poor showing of the bowlers. The only bright spot on the horizon is new signing David who we hope will perform better than the present bunch.
Oops this hasn't come out very well so in short:
