Well according to the McDonald's Fantasy Game he doesn't have any. :thumbsd:
Well thats bullshit then. The cross for the first goal that came off the Korean kiddies leg and the shot come pass off the post for Higuain's second goal. There's two assists right there.

Almost as bad as the MOTM Ronaldo troll guy.

Let me guess, Higuan is going to make your "overrated duds" team of the World Cup after scoring a hattrick..

Nope. Can't say anything bad about his game today but I'd still prefer Milito at Arsenal.

Argentina look pretty formidable, easily the best attacking side so far, even going by the first game, they were unlucky not to win 2 or 3 nil. Very impressive and a team playing with a lot of conviction so far.

The only weakness I can see is the better teams can exploit their defence, especially down the sides.

Argentina's defence is vulnerable.

Heinze is a complete muppet who keeps getting caught out on the rebound. Demichelis ain't much better, either.

Though, their attack is fluid and will create shitload of chances.

Has to be direct assists for it to count in the fantasy game..
How much more direct do you want than kicking a ball into someones leg and then going in the goal?

The big difference for Argentina is that Maradona has learned to give Messi free reign to roam the pitch. Its too hard to stop him now and then you have Di Maria, Tevez, Aguero and Higuan who can conjure up something.

An assist is awarded when the goal scorer receives the ball directly from a team mate and scores. If the assist pass takes a small deflection which doesn't change the direction of the pass, it will still be given.
No assists are awarded for own goals or penalties.
....

I hope for Argentina's sake that Samuel is good to go for the knockout stages.

Solid performance by Argentina but can't see them winning with their terrible defence.

Thing is their attack is easily the best at the cup.. they can potentially outscore anyone in the tournament..

they'll back themselves in to beat their opponent every game, whether it'll work or not will be another thing all together.

they can afford to conceed one or two every game if they keep scoring 4

Maradona should just role the dice. Should just say stuff defense. Have the 4 spuds at the back, Mascherano in front of them and just have Messi almost playing as a centre midfielder and Di Marian, Aguero, Tevez and Higuain roaming free up front.

LOL sounds like Wenger.

The problem is Defence>>>> Attack as we saw last night with Switzerland and in 06 with Italy.

It will be interesting to see how they go against a well organised defence, Spain's defence is 10 times better than Argentina's yet they got exposed a few times so I think Argentina will struggle.

I would say Germany are favourites atm but they played a shocking side so who knows.

The more 'established' teams will set out to stifle their attack as well as exploit their vulnerable defence on the counter. You know it's going to happen as not many teams are going to go play free-flowing football against them in the latter stages or will allow them to do so. Perhaps Spain can afford to.

The thing about Germany is I can see Mertesacker and Freidrich get exposed badly against a team like Argentina. Brazil have been very succesful against Argentina in recent times as their counterattacking game plan has worked wonders. We just need to see what tactics Argentina has come up with to deal with it.

When you have muppets like Heinze who get caught on the rebound, teams will definitely target them on the counter.

Pretty much agree with rdub said. If they want to win the WC, they have to address their defence.

It's Wenger's philosphy that as long as you can outscore your opponent defence is irrelevant, unfortunately I have found out this philosphy is a dud :(
