Funny how you people translate general hatred for the United States to hatred for US soccer, as if the average gun-toting, gay-bashing, race-slurring redneck is actually watching these games instead of slagging soccer as "boring" and "communist."

As for Slovenija, they'd be lucky to get through. They had a gift goal against Algeria, a gift no-goal against the US and they didn't even bother to show up for today's game.

There is no general hatred of the United States. I lived there for 3 years and there's no general hatred here. But there is a level of arrogance about them and that's the one thing Australians can't handle. It's the one thing that get's up Australian noses. That's all I'd put it down to.
