How ****ing shit is Carragher?

Terry gets by on his lack of leg speed by actually being good.

Carragher is just ****ing shit - his last two seasons poor. What a tosser.

'ohh I'm not playing international football anymore'

that's what everyone else was hoping too you w***er.

*sigh*

I know I made my peace that I would never see England win a tournament in my lifetime, but for ****s sake. that right there is pretty much typical England.

and **** you to Rob Green too. pulls that sort of thing at the World Cup and leaves his Banks impersonations for when he has to play Arsenal.

OPTA stats say he made more mistakes than any other goalkeeper last year in the EPL, made 8 errors which led to a goal. Second place had nearly half that at 5. Rob Green pulls that sort of thing at West Ham all the time, its just that 100 million people dont watch West Ham play every week

Mido could of outrun Carragher last night. He was horrendous. Kings injured and Upson is worse than Carragher so it doesnt leave England in much of a position to pick and choose. As much as people glossed over the Rio injury it really showed how much he was missed last night

yeah, and he also chooses to play like the bastard son of all the greatest keepers of all-time when he plays us.

Brit papers for Sunday are online...love the headline in the Mirror

THE hAND OF CLOD

Boy, will he get roasted....

Reminds me of a song for Rob Green Bolton fans were singing

IM forever making howlers
Many howlers for West Ham
The ball flew so high
Couldnt stop it if i try
Then like his West Hams dreamsthey fade and die

Wheres the ball hiding
Ive looked everywhere
Not in my ****ing hands
Its once again in the net.

Its the Robert Green mentality. Impress for future employment opportunities. I guess now he realises he has no one to impress hes just gonna boob it up like he does for West Ham. Dont get me wrong. Hes a very talented keeper but his attitude is laughably bad. Its sad to see what he has become

lol, yeah. and it was really just poor positioning.

The best part is that he has already blamed the ball for his mistake.

Its clever English journalism. Thats what I thought at first but watch the full interview and you will find the Poms put those words into his mouth. He mans up and blames himself which is very unlike Rob Green because normally he blames everyone but himself.

Remember Kalac? A similar mistake to that of Green's but in a more important game. England still win the next 2 and finish 1st I'm sure they wont be too upset.

He owned up but he also chucked in

Makes you wonder how much he normally misses it by?

Yeh but in fairness to Green he was just commenting on a comment Dempsey had made to the pressers 3 minutes earlier about the movement the ball took leading to the goal, Dempsey said the movement took it away from Green and it was a lucky goal but why didnt he deserve a lucky goal.

Id say the most worrying thing in that whole comment is the word MAY. So was he watching the ball or not?

Easy to blame Green, but in truth we didn't deserve to win. Hoofing it long to Heskey most of the time - total shit. Rooney not sticking to the gameplan and coming far too deep. Capello has got to sort all this out fast. We can't be left with Heskey as our main striker ffs.

Drop Heskey for Barry and push Gerrard up to suport Rooney and make sure Shrek stays up front and shows a little faith in the players around him!!

I thought Lennon did OK and Johnson was alright although his delivery aint all that. SWP is useless and I don't want to see him near the team again. Our CB's are in deep crap now. Carragher is well off the pace for international football. It's all a bit of a mess an its time for Capello to man up and apply the changes that everyone else is able to see.

Oh yeah, Joe Hart should start.

Good luck againt Ze Germans tomorrow!

I just saw the goal on the replay and........and....I'm just gonna let the Prez show you how I feel...

I saw the Rob Green nterview, and fair play for him facing up, but I don't think he should of. He was clearly in some sort of shock - or post traumatic stress of some description. He hardly made any sense, his eyes were glazed and he was almost rambling. ****ing sad what football can do to a man. There is no way he will be able to play in the next match.

Gerrard had his best game in a year or so.

I though England actually played it around reasonably well, but their forwards were pretty quiet. Heskey's lay off for Gerrard goal was good but Rooney was MIA till about the 70th minute. Lampard pretty quiet as well.

US stuck to their gameplan very well and probably deserved a point out of it.

Robert Green. WTF

Gerrard and Lampard were, as always for England, shit.

Gerrard played a great first 15 minutes and then was nowhere to be seen for the next 75.

Yeah they did deserve a point. England never gained control of the game other han a 10-15 min period in the second half. USA came back strong after we scored. They may not have Englands talent but they made up for it with effort and the coach got his tactics spot on. Capello didn't and his subs never swung it either.

First time Capello has failed when it mattered. Still 1-1 aint the end of the world and lots of teams start unconvincigly at these tournamants. It's a marathon not a sprint. OK I'll get off cliche street now.

Green made a massive howler. But he shouldn't feel all that bad cos England never controlled the game anyway. Shit happens - he wont be the last keeper to make a howler at tis tournament.

So much talent, so little footy smarts. Frank Lampard especially at international level just doesnt know how to get the ball. Shit is harsh, Frank doesnt give himself the chance to be shit. invisible is more spot on I think.

Think its a confidence thing with Frank.. With Chelsea he knows he has proved himself. With England he knows he hasn't. You can see it when he shoots, he always blazes it with England when invariably it flies in the net with Chelsea (off a deflection or two!) So frustrating

Alot of people say that but I just cant see a player like Lampard ever lacking confidence. I must admit say though. Has Lampard ever scored a deflected goal for England ever? He really has to work for them in the white shirt dont he.
