England need a win in the last game to go through. Thats it. A win. They dont win, they dont go through almost certainly, unless the USA and ALG draw...

Overall, its a situation that is why I have two TV's in my loungeroom...

Everyone will go on about England, but I thought Algeria were pretty handy today. Played with plenty of heart and no little skill, and just didn't let England have any time on the ball. While England were too arrogant to adjust their game to the opposition.

Was still expecting a totally undeserved England goal at any second, maybe an OG or a flagrant dive from Gerrard, but thank jaysus, it never arrived.

Small pooint, but the USA is ahead of England because of goals scored, I believe. Still, England beat Slovenia and they advance, regardless- but listening to brit radio, the knoives are out for sure.

Im sure they went into the Algeria game thinking it was ONLY Algeria, they need to pull their finger out and play up to the opposition.
Sure on paper they aren't the strength of Spain, Argentina, Brazil etc but

Slovenia are on top of the group for a reason and already beat Algeria which England couldn't do and almost beat the US as well.

Fell asleep watching USA vs Slovenia with the score 0-2 woke up the moment USA scored making it 2-2 fell asleep again and woke up to see Algeria score against England I think (turned the TV off straight away). No idea what the final scores were in both matches, I must say Slovenia's first goal was amazing. Currently watching the replay of ENG vs ALG in the 30th minute.
