I would thoroughly approve of Australia diving if we were good enough to do it and get away with it if it would win us a world cup or even a lazy 4, Dont think we will see 1 on my lifetime .

Then again Italy got a very wrong red card in that match too (even more wrong than Cahills last night) but you dont ever hear about that because winners are grinners i guess and losers are sore ......

LOL they "turned it on" in 2006? They played a boring brand and won. Credit to them for winning but they were not exciting.

As for 82 I will have to get BB to answer that as I was not born. Nevertheless that has no relevance to modern performances.

Short memory? It was only 4 years ago you dived your way over the line. Yes, it happens all the time in soccer, yes it was a shit tackle from Neil but ask any Australian with a surname that doesn't end in a, e, i or o about what sticks in their mind from last year's world cup and you'll hear a fair amount of hate for the Italian side.
