South Africa has a population of 50 million. Brazil has about 6 times that so they will have full stadiums. The only continent where this would happen is Africa.

Yes it is. I was complaining about the people attending the games. I don't care about the rest.That's not the point. The accomodation, transport, safety and other things will also be inferior in Brazil to what fans would get in the US or most parts of Europe.
This is about involving the whole world and giving something back to countries/continents that have given a lot to the game themselves. It's completely beyond me how you can point your finger at South Africa here. You can bet this world cup means a hell of a lot more to South Africans than the one 4 years ago meant to the Germans.
The only problem there's been was getting everyone into South Africa. Because of that, there are fewer fans there than would've been the case otherwise.
