Don't be an idiot. Just because Torres dived then, doesn't mean Estrada is a saint. 30 minutes in and he already had 3 dreadful tackles. I'm pretty sure that would play in the mind of the ref when you see someone go down like Torres did.
He didn't see Torres go down or the foul. Get your bias out of it mate. The one where the Spanish players surrounded the referee (about four of them) pleading for him to be sent off was marginal as to whether it was a yellow but probably not worthy of one (it was slightly late) but either way not the sort of decision that required four players to gang up on a referee to send someone off.

Torres was holding his face on the ground and he was down there after an ankle tap for 2 or 3 minutes. That's disgusting cheating.

Exactly the same as the pathetic IC player getting Kaka sent off. Both are filthy ****ing cheats. I'm going to go down pretend I'm injured for 10 minutes and hold my face on a slight touch in the stomach/ankle tap.
A cheating, filthy ****. I hate this sort of shit.

That is ****ing disgusting and Spain are a disgrace. Just like Barcelona. And we'll get the Barca fans here whinging about me whinging but trying to get players sent off for minor things is weak, Spain are a good enough team to be above that (just like Barcelona) but they just can't help themselves. If you can't see that it's disgusting and a spit in the face of the game then it's your loss.
This is why I can't stand your teams. Both might be the best in their competitions (team and country) but they are not likeable teams because there is nothing classy about the way both sides conduct themselves. It's a disgrace. Really pathetic. You'll come up with excuses, and live in denial but I don't really care but the evidence is presented time and time again.

And Ramos came running in motioning that Torres was hit in the face.
As I say, all class.

Spain and particularly Torres should be ashamed of themselves. But they won't care because they always pull out this sort of shit with no consequence for their cheating.

**** off back to Spain Torres you filthy w***er. You know you want to go back there so just **** off. Absolute **** of a bloke.

1. I do not support Spain.
2. I never said it was a foul.
3. The ref is a ********.
4. So are you.
5. Estrada was playing crazy rough.
6. Torres theatrics didn't help.
7. Refs have been making mistakes ever since the beginning of time.
8. 2-0, hardly a ruined close game.
9. While refs should never make assumptions, let's face it, they ALWAYS do.
Number 8 isn't necessarily true. Chile weren't playing badly at all, very nearly equalised minutes after Spain scored. Wouldn't have been impossible to see them coming back, it pretty well is now.

Number 4 is irrelevant.

1. I said you support barca.
2. So? stop making cases for the ref.
3. no shit.
4. Come at me bro.
5. and? Torres has been diving all game
6. no shit.
7. no excuse for that pathetic decision.
8. Irrelevant to the point in question, Chille have been dominant no reason why they won't score.
9. So that makes it acceptable?

I'm pretty sure he stopped the game because the fourth referee told him something happened. And yes, video-reffing should come into play, but you have to tell FIFA that not me.

Its ok not trying to tell anyone, they work for a bigger organization than any of us and Im sure they are smart enough to do it if they were serious, but then again if they were serious this ref wouldnt have got another guernsey.

I know Chile have had a couple of dirty moments, no doubt...but as you agree above no one deserves the decisions theyve had for some of the offences

And to all those who had a go at the IC player for getting Kaka sent off - this is no different. Exactly the same. Like the IC dude Torres should be similarly afforded the same insults. Cheat. Filthy ****ing cheat.
A cheating, filthy **** who deserves to have his dick cut off. Little ****ing w***er.

Spain and particularly Torres (not forgetting the talented but very bad sportsmen Barca midfielders) should be ashamed of themselves.

Also, I could not care less about anything you said as I'm guessing it's that time of the month for you.

I never said it was a correct call, the ref clearly made a mistake and Torres clearly dived. All I said was that we all know refs are not perfect, and I'm guessing when a player goes down clutching his face they panic, especially when the player who supposedly 'attacked' Torred had been playing rough.

Finally, EVERY team surrounds the ref and pressures him when they feel they can gain an edge.

Chile were the better side. A mistake by the goalkeeper - a really bad mistake 1-0 and a bad mistake by the defender - losing the ball in his own half - 2-0.

Two bad mistakes.

Surprisingly Chile have played the better football. And I have to admit this is the first I've seen of them this tournament but they're a bloody good side.

What a friggin great calmly taken goal, reminds me of mexicos aginst South Africa in game 1....made it look like all the time in the world

Haha, Spain fall asleep and Chile score.

What a bunch of arrogant ****s Spain are. Thinking they can just stop trying and let the game drift away for them to win.

I'm going to put it out there... Chille are the best team to watch, they have amazing interplay it's like they have played together for years. Sanchez is a brilliant player.

Villa did nothing wrong and it was a quality finish.

Yes he is my striker in the sweepstakes, that has no influence on my opinion......Aurora Borealis! At this time of year, in this part of the country located entirely in your kitchen.

Do tell? or Explain what you are on about?

When Holland get going there is no one better in terms of interplay. Unfortunately they have yet to get going.

Also Mexico are fun. :thumbsu:

No they don't.

Barca and Spain are worse than any other. They both feel they're entitled to referee the game themselves and it's the only reason I can't stand either team. Because they're both brilliant but I really couldn't give a **** when both go around trying to get players sent off, taking filthy dives, clutching parts of their body in agony on minor touches, that sort of shit. And the Busquets thing - no mate that doesn't happen everywhere. And Torres holding his face - staying down for 2 or 3 minutes on an ankle tap doesn't happen everywhere.

I have it in for Barca for this reason. So when instances present themsleves naturally my feelings on the club and their conduct will surface. I hate cheating mate.
Nothing I detest more about the game of football. Play hard, play fair - and treat your opponents with respect - and maintain class at all times - there might be heated moments and disagreements but there are appropriate ways to conduct yourself and there are inappropriate ways to conduct yourself and the line isn't fine - it's obvious.

My biggest hate is players clutching body parts in agony when they've been hit somewhere else or deliberately making the most out of minor, sometimes incidental conduct to get another sent off. What is the point? It's just ****ed up man.
Some of the reactions you see to slight nudges or taps would be comical if it wasn't cheating.

Stopped reading there. EVERY team does it. EVERY team has players that dive and cheat and fall down when they feel any contact. Until you decide to be objective about this, don't bother starting the topic.

Fabregas really needs to be starting Spain's games either for Torres or for Basquets while Alonso moves to a defensive playmaker role.
